MATERIAL:It's amazingly soft and stretchable. "Poor quality" is never going to cross your mind when you receive this product. It is of the right amount of thickness you're looking for in a formal skirt. I tried getting a close-up picture (Picture #1) for you guys to understand the material and quality.FIT:It was the right fit for me. Though I wear size 26 for jeans, I bought a size 28 for this skirt (maybe because 26 wasn't available or something).It fit me like a dream at the hips but it was loose near my navel (formal skirts are meant to be worn high-waisted). That is because the skirt is a lot cylindrical in shape. As a result of this, I think a lot of people will face the problem of a loose waist but a fitting hip.The only solution is to get it altered (Picture #2) and that's very easy. I got mine done for ₹30 only and now it fits me perfectly as I got the waist narrowed down.Also, it has an ELASTIC at the waist area. So even you can actually get it altered to get the right size for your waist.RECOMMENDATION?Yes, absolutely. Go for it. It's a great buy for this price. Even if not for this price, it's a great buy.

I seriously had doubts about the material and the fit of the skirt, but let me tell you - the material is just great. It's stretchable material and thick enough that if you tuck your shirt in, the bunched up shirt is not at all visible through the skirt. The panty line, however, will be visible so you'll have to do something about it yourselves.One thing I would say is to size down. When wearing skinny jeans, I always wear 34 but I took a chance and ordered size 32 in this skirt and that fits me perfectly. In fact, I think that had I chosen a size 34, it would have been too big for me. So, whatever size you wear, one size down would be good too.In short, I am very happy with my purchase :)

Little loose ...

Loved the skirt a lot. Comfortable and stylish. Works well as formals. I am impressed.

I have tried all three brands i.e purple feather, stars and you and high tide skirts.The purple feather one is cheap looking, thin material, not a good shape. So its a definate NO NO for it.The stars and you skirt has a great fabric which is just as same as the high tide one.But i prefer high tide skirt because of the amazing shape, chain and button quality, amazing fitting.The most important thing that helped me chose the high tide skirt is the hidden elastic waist band.It makes the skirt look more elegant and classy.So i personally preferred the High Tide skirt.

Nice product with awesome cloth material and nice fitting. I only wish it was a "little" skinny at the bottom, but that's also good as it makes me walk and climb stairs comfortably, because it's too difficult to walk wearing other pencil skirts with very tight fitting. Satisfied with the product!

This is the first formal skirt I've bought so I have nothing else to compare it to, that being said I think it's pretty darn Good! It has the perfect amount of stretch and hence fits really well. I'm not too sure about wearing it to work though but that could just be me. Do try it if you're in need of a formal skirt before checking out better known brands.

After making several searches about black bodycon skirt I finally decided to place order for this brand that too after reading several reviews which were mostly positive and I must say it did not disappoint it's beautiful and comfortable with thick yet strechy material that's fits perfectly according to my size. I am satisfied and happy with this purchase. Thanks stars and you and Amazon.
