I suddenly recently developed a skin rash on both of my arms due to cancer treatment. A nurse suggested using this soap and it totally reduced my rash and I am not really itchy anymore. I read the reviews about using it on your face and I was skeptical about it. I have been using Mary Kay cleansers only for over 30 years and I really don't have wrinkles or issues with my face. I decided to take a chance and try this in my face! Wow! It took off all my face makeup and left my face SUPER soft and clear. My husband even asked me what I did to my face because it was baby butt soft and looked radiating. I never write reviews, but OH MY Gosh! I had to write one for this simple bar. It is pretty big, inexpensive and I can tell it will last awhile. I use it all over my body AND face. I feel like I hit the jackpot!

Basis soap is great for sensitive skin and noses. Leaves skin soft and has no strong odor. My only complaint is the soap is big and round and slippery and difficult to hold onto, and often times in the shower it shoots out of my hands across the room.

Cleans well, feels good, lasts a long time, does not irritate or dry out my skin. No scent!! Great value. It is very slippery when wet.

I am so happy with the Basis white bar soaps that I wrote this review. So few products make my life easier and this is now one of them. I would re-purchase and look forward to trying their vitamin soap as well.I used the Basis face wash in my 20s but never tried their bar soaps before now. I can safely use this on my face and body with no issues and it is incredibly mild. My friend remarked on my bright, clear face, which I can only attribute to washing with the Basis white bar.Prior to this, I was using Dove sensitive bar soap, which was fine on my body but irritated my face, so I wanted to try something else and this was well-priced and advertised for sensitive skin.This bar is incredibly mild, has no scent at all, no color, lathers nicely, lasts longer than Dove, and rinses cleanly. This leaves my skin squeaky clean, so I make sure to follow up with moisturizers. It contains almond and chamomile, so read the ingredients of you have allergies. I had no reaction in the formulation of this bar.

This soap creates a nice lather and while it does take a little extra effort to rinse away compared to some other brands, it does rinse away completely. I don't feel slick, greasy, or unpleasantly still soapy afterwards. My skin does feel slightly refreshed afterwards, so there is definitely some degree of moisturizing taking hold. The most impressive thing is the complete absence of scent. I can't smell anything and other people in my household also could not detect a scent on me fresh out of the shower. That's pretty impressive. Not to mention the price for the amount you get is extremely good.
