Excellent heat modulation due to a thick metal base to ease heat transfer between thermostat settings. My old pot was could not evenly heat when the thermostat went between heating and resting of heating cycles, especially important with cheese and chocolate recipes. High quality look and feel and stainless steel is easily cleaned. Liked it so much I bought another to get more people around the table cooking their fondue fare.

This fondue pot worked very well for my family’s cheese fondue night. I love how it’s electric and very easy to use, though I would recommend having an extension cord handy because the cord doesn’t stretch very long. It came with skewers and everything I needed, and I loved how you could make the whole recipe right in the pot. The temperature control was also very effective and heated the cheese evenly, and the stainless steel design made it easy to wash. I would fully recommend this pot for a fun family dinner, and I can’t wait to try chocolate next!

I am so impressed with the quality of this fondue pot. It worked well for various types of fondue (cheese, oil, and chocolate). Worth the price! The pot holds the temp steady, and is easy to clean!

I usually rely on Cuisinart products to be exceptional and worth the money. This fondue pot not only looks lovely on your table, but it functions very well. It brings the contents to a boil quickly. (the wine and garlic if you’re doing the cheese fondue) it also works very well with chocolate.. It was easy to clean because it is nonstick. You do need to be a bit careful when you are using the forks so you do not scratch the bottom. All in all the great buy.

I purchased the Cuisinart Electric Fondue Maker to add to our Christmas Eve festivities! The kids wanted a chocolate fountain, but I thought the fondue would be more versatile as we could use it for other dips!The package arrived well wrapped with each piece wrapped inside. There is the main fondue portion, the cord, the 9 fondue forks and the partial lid. I found the unit to be sturdy for it's purpose. The pot has a Teflon lining to prevent sticking. The heating element plugs in and you can easily adjust to either higher or lower. The cord is somewhat short, but that is definitely a safety measure and all electric appliances have shorter cords. The only glaring flaw was a large scratch right across the front of the unit. I debated returning/exchanging the unit, but was afraid I wouldn't have the new one in time for Christmas Eve. We decided to keep it as is.Our first trial run was actually by the teens in the house! They began with a chocolate fondue set on number 2. They did amazingly well and we had no burned chocolate at all. I think the idea is to keep the temperature low and slow and not rush the heat time. They chose a variety of items to dip! They cut up strawberries, pound cake, Rice Krispy treats and so on. After watching this, I have decided it would be awesome to have out for teen gatherings!Our next fondue will be a cheese and broth with select proteins! I am excited to try that one!The only reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars is the quality control issue with the scratched unit. Other than that, a solid five stars! I have posted pictures below! Bought this so we could do something a little different for Valentine's Day! When I brought it out of the box, my hubby was like WHY did you buy this, when we have one in the cabinet (it was a candle/burner type one which is way to complicated for me to figure out, so it's just sat up there for 7 years unused) I said this one is electric, and looks A LOT nicer and easier...He gave up his argument for the sake of Valentine's...So..I win! hehe anyways...it was sooo easy and the directions were also very easy to follow...I did have to turn it down to a lower setting than what the instruction book said, but no biggie. The cord is short, Our first course (the CHEESE) I didn't have the extension cord, so we ate it right at our kitchen bar...While sitting there enjoying our delicious appetizer...my hubby said..."I now understand why you bought this...this looks so easy to set up and make, and this stuff is amazing! We're definitely gonna get some use out of this! " (hate to say I told ya so but.......)We were so stuffed after the 1st course, we decided to save the main course (filet mignon and potatoes) for another night, but we absolutely had enough room for dessert!! So a little while later, i started on the CHOCOLATE! Yum! We were at that point wanting to relax in the living room and he said...can't we have it in here...let's get and extension cord and see how it works....Found one..and worked like a charm...we had it on our living room ottoman... Other reviewers said they had problems with the magnetic cord being easy to come apart...but we had no problems...we even had dogs running all around the living room with toys and such..and nothing came unplugged!Needless to say, this was wonderful for Valentine's day, and I can't wait to use it for Date nights at home and hopefully gonna have a Fondue PARTY one day soon! If you're thinking about buying this, thin no more, and just do it!PS: Clean-up was a breeze!!

This is a wonderful fondue pot. I was really worried I would mess it up, but this pot kept even temperature and had a really clear direction pamphlet for it which made for a flawless fondue Christmas Eve..

This pot is perfect for fondue nights. It cooks food thoroughly. I love that you can adjust the oil temp easily. It functions perfectly. The food comes out tasting perfectly. It was easy to put together. The stainless steel is very sleek looking.
