Tight fit
having options for lights, camera with winter night riding action is noice. I run Cateye lights front and rear so this provides an option to use the GoPro mount on the K-Edge for the front light. I had already paid up for a K-Edge extended bracket to enable mounting of both my Garmin Edge 1030 and GoPro camera. Then I discovered Cat-Eye makes this mount to adapt to the GoPro bracket "fingers".My only issue is the fit is very tight. Fit for the headlight into the Cateye bracket is very tight. It does lock in so rather tight than loose. Also, I had some difficulty getting the Cateye plastic bracket to enter and line up between the K-Edge aluminum GoPro fingers. I anticipate this will loosen over time because the aluminum fingers already shaved against the Cateye plastic. But, hey, once mounted it enables use of the K-Edge to run the headlamp at night when I typically don't operate the GoPro camera.

works with k-edge but super tight fit, requiring some filing
instead of using a generic rubber band go-pro adapter (which worked ok actually, but didn't give me as much sense of security long term), i opted to order this cateye specific bracket for the underside of my k-edge combo mount. the cateye is well made and solid but it wouldn't fit initially, it's 2 walls slightly too thick to slide into the k-edge underside go-pro mount. i had to file down the plastic about 1mm to get it in... my file was a tad thick so put pressure on the bracket and i was worried i'd snap or damage the cateye bracket. and when pushing it into the k-edge was worried i'd damage the k-edge. in any case, it's in there now and is super solid. just plan to do some filing

Doesn’t work with garmin
I have a garmin varia quarter turn to friction flange mount adaptor. I use that adaptor to attach a GoPro to the bottom of my standard GoPro out front mount. I want to use the same adaptor to attach my cateye ampp 400 light. I bought this adaptor because it said it worked with garmin and GoPro mounts, but I can’t squeeze the mount into the garmin.

Item never delivered: Cateye and DHL are doing nothing about it
I have contacted Cateye and DHL. DHL delivered the product to another house. After contacting Cateye about it, they eventually ghosted me. Same with DHL. Haven't found an area in the Amazon portal to dispute not receiving my order. I'm not surprised by DHL because they are HORRIBLE to begin with, but very disappointed in Cateye for literally doing nothing and communicating nothing.

Doesn't Fit KOM Cycling GoPro Adapter
This adapter doesn't fit in the KOM Cycling GoPro adapter so I returned it to Amazon. I printed a nearly identical part for my CatEye AMPP 1100 headlight using my 3D printer which fits the KOM adapter perfectly.
