Great; affordable.
I did a little experiment: Got this, an expenaive Tama boom stand (For my Ride) and a "Luvay Boom Cymbal Stand, Single Braced Lightweight (4.5lb)" 1) This stand is $10 more than that Luvay Boom stand and it's 300x better quality. This stand is great for the price. None of the pinned joints rattle or wabble or move. It works great for a crash or a stacker. It would certainly hold a ride, but I wouldn't trust the base to hold a ride all the way out. This is 1/3 the price of the Tama and it's almost as good of quality. Depending on your budget: 3x these or 1x a Tama? You wanna set up an affordable Terry Bosio set but you're not as Rich as him (Or sponsored)... This stand will work just fine.

Excellent heavy duty stand!! I would choose this over any DW stand
Absolutely great stand, both in quality, sturdiness and features. I purchased two of these for my DW collectors maple kit, so naturally my first inclination was to buy a few DW stands, but those are ridiculously overpriced, and Ive never been a huge fan of the plastic tension rod at the top. These have the same style of free positioning necks (Not notched, so you can position your cymbals at exactly the angle you want) but is all metal. They also have these nice memory locks so when breaking down your gear, you can easily set it up again exactly how it was before. Excellent. I love Gibraltar gear, and I highly recommend these and their products.

Great quality
This stand is sturdy, has memory locks to keep positioning in place, and is not excessive in weight for a stand of this type. The chrome is well-done and it is to fit in proximity to other stands around my kit. Very, very nice product!

Good cymbal stands
If you want a cymbal stand that can do the job but not too heavy, this one will do it. I have no problem so far with it

Gibraltar Hardware is Underrated
A lot of drummers look over Gibraltars hardware, but their higher end gear is comparable to the much more expensive higher end hardware from Tama/DW/Pearl etc.. It has everything you want and need: steadiness, versatility, functionality and reliability. Don't sleep on it!

I used to have other Gibraltar stands. Thought since this one was double braced it was be as beefy as those. It's not. Mid range stand at best.

Esperaba más por el precio. Muy delgadas que les cuesta soportar un platillo de 18” con una muy ligera inclinación en el boom. De ahí en fuera todo bien.
