HitchMateHeininger 4038 Truck Step XL with Hitch Lock for Full Size Trucks

Great product! As described! Fits my 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2!

got it within 3 days without prime delivery. I use it for 2018 f150. Ordered the regular step based on the description of amazon and seller's website but find out it is only extendable from hitch receiver for around 12.5 inches rather than what it mentioned 23.5inches. So only 2 inches of the step is lined farther out from the edge of tailgate once it is laid down flat. So it does not work out so well for step up to the tailgate. Contacted seller and find out what 23.5 inches actually meant is measurement from the first pin hole to the edge of the step. By deducting the few inches of the step and few inches from the first pin hole to the the hitch receiver, the actual distance for extension is only 12.5 inches. Unfortunately, the description and picture are misleading. So I have to return the regular one and purchase the XL one, again the 31 inches extension description is misleading but it does reach farther away than the regular one and does able to provide enough room for easily step to the tailgate now. Happy with the XL one but very unhappy with the description on the regular one and it cost extra $100 for the extra inches. Measure how much clearance you need for stepping up before you buy!!!
