Not only do we get to revisit Shaelyn, Brady, Jade and Danvers, we get a loveable Great Dane and a big, endearing dose of a teenage Julian who’s even more smart mouthed and hilarious than ever.The journey to Anna and Luke’s happily ever after is the most fun I’ve had in I don’t know how long! The dates Anna goes on as a result of her daring Luke to find her Mr. Right are side splitting, laugh-out-loud hysterical, and the book is worth reading just for those scenes. But then there are the more serious moments as they work through the issues keeping them apart that are so realistic and spot on, these two manage to work their way even deeper into the reader’s heart. And after the most tense, dangerous scene in the book that ends with the Luke and Anna’s epic, moving declaration of love, in jumps Danvers with the comic relief. The perfect construction of that scene, and throughout the book, is pure genius from a supremely talented writer. Ms. Luis writes with the voice of a seasoned author, with a gift for comedic timing that would make Carol Burnett and Melissa McCarthy proud. While I believe this is her best book to date, any book by Ms. Luis is a delightful, entertaining, feel-good romp, and you’re truly missing out if you don’t read her work!

Maria Luis's writing style should be trademarked. ❤️I think of all of the NOLA Heart Series of books, this one is indeed my favorite. I loved Anna and her son Julian in the first book in the series and was thrilled when Maria Luis revealed she was writing this book.Maria's stories are addicting, making me feel completely immersed in the lives of the characters, rooting for them as if they are my very own friends.I loved the appearances of characters from previous books in the series – but this one, like the others, can totally be read as a standalone.In this book, a dare leads to inevitable love. And these two are so meant for each other.And I can't say enough about my Hero - Luke. And Anna makes the perfect Heroine...in more ways than one!!Sexy...Funny...Tempting...'Sassy'...Daring!Hooah!! ❤️Waiting for the next book in the series. Until then, I'll read this one again. 😍

Dare You to Love Me is the Third Book in the NOLA Hearts series. Anna and Luke take Dares to a whole different level. The Chemistry and Banter that they have are some of The Best I've Read. I literally Laughed Out Loud so many times.  I love that Anna is so successful and self made, she's such an Amazing Mom to Julian. I Adore the relationship that Luke builds with Julian. The great Dane, Sassy still the show most of the time. I’ve loved Anna and Luke from the moment they stepped onto the page in the first book. I wanted to see their happily-ever-after something fierce. They are just so Perfectly Matched, although of course, it takes them a while to figure that out! Her first attempt results in a crash and burn and who should be there to witness her humiliation but Luke, the man she bulldozed over and left broken bottles in her wake, at his mother’s herb shop.Luke has returned home after serving in the forces for 13 years and the last thing he needs is a woman or a relationship. When he sees Anna after her disastrous date the late thing he was expecting was to accept a dare where he would set her up on dates to find her Mr. Right.The dates will keep you in stiches especially as no matter how much Luke denies his feelings we all know that he is only lying to himself and it is just a matter of time before it implodes. The combination of humor, sarcasm and chemistry combined with the realism of the story makes this a book that you don’t want to miss.

I am so in love with Luke and Anna!! This book takes dares to a whole different level. I love the chemistry and banter that Luke and Anna have. They push and challenge each other, which slowly starts to heighten their feelings for each other. Jules is another character I loved. He is exactly like his mom Anna, sarcastic and lovable. Maria really did a wonderful job with the characters and finally seeing Luke and Anna find love is the highlight of my day. I really enjoyed reading this books and I can't wait for Maria's next book!!I received an arc copy and I voluntarily leave a honest review

How they met was so funny!! Anna being clumsy knocking over glasses and then knocks Luke of balance. Yeah I know he was embarrassed to say the least. Anna is a single Mom to Julian fourteen years old. The are a unit. Her cousin Shae was now her co owner of her shop. Julian gets to hang out with Brady and Shae. Anna wants what her cousin has. She starts to date. Her dates turns out to be a disaster. After One date she runs into Luke who starts up an conversation with her. She dares him to find her a date. Even though she wants him he only does one night stands. She wants him to pick three guys in three weeks. Turns out he starts to fall for her. They keep playing games back and forth. Then finally get back together. I liked their story.

Luke O'Connor is back in NOLA after suffering an accident whilst in the army, spending time in his mother's herbal shop he is literally floored by Anna Bryce. Unaware that they know each other an attraction is born. Meeting again by accident in a bar, Luke is privy to a disastrous first date of Anna's and a date is born. They each have to find three dates for Anna and the person she chooses makes whoever found them the winner. In the background an attraction builds for both of them. What happens with the dare? Who will win? This book was both hilarious and at times poignant. The addition of Anna's 14 year old son Julian ups the hilarity factor! A definite 5 star read!

"Dare You To Love Me" is the 3rd book in the "NOLA Heart Series" by Maria Luis. I am really enjoying Maria's writing. This is a Well written book And had a great storyline. It is a real page turner and you won't want to put it down. The characters Luke & Anna are well written and were very likeable. They just pull you in to the story. I loved their chemistry and interaction. This is an Enjoyable, Entertaining, Funny must read romance and I would recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. Can't wait to read more from the brilliant Maria Luis

It's amazing what good writing and character development does for a predictable plot. This book is such an easy and fun book to read. I think this is my favourite book in this series💫

5stars...Must Read!!! I'll admit that I was waiting for this book impatiently because I was already curious about Luke and Anna when they were first introduced in the previous books...and post finishing the book, I loved how author played their story out...it was perfect, loved the storyline, as usual the writing style was amazing...Sassy and Jules and everyone else from the previous books were here...it was like catching up with old friends and getting a peek into their lives...these are the kind of people you'd want in your lives who always have your back and just care about you...this is all (and more) the author was able to articulate and showcase in her writing...this is a fun read, with the right dose of emotions, and has the kind of people I would root for their HEA...loved the book/series/characters...on a side note: considering Jules (Anna's son) has all these amazing people in his lives, he would turn out be an amazing human being..I hope he gets his own HEA someday and I get to read that book too :-)..ha ha

I love the gorgeous, broken heroes in this series. They appeal to that fixer gene inside every woman I know. Some women are able to resist that pull, but I’m not one of them. I’ve loved Luke from the moment he stepped onto the page in the first book. I wanted to see his happily-ever-after something fierce. When we first met Anna, I wasn’t sure what to make of her. Since then, she’s grown into such a vibrant, independent businesswoman. After that first book I couldn’t wait to see her forever either. It left me squee-ing in delight that these two were the solution to each others’ problems; even when they were being each others’ problems. The snappy banter left me giggling hysterically. But the lengths that they go to in order to resist the pull towards one another made me want to pull my hair out by the roots. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store next for this group of friends.
