** After contacting customer support they shipped me a replacement control box (after requesting I send a video showing the problem). Thus far after being installed less than a week, the problems I had been having have yet to reappear. I'm grateful they sent me a working part but I still had to deal with the hassle of undoing my original cable management under the car and doing it all a 2nd time. I will up my rating to 4 stars. **Loved these when I installed. Did everything as advertised. Shortly after getting them I go to the convenience store and when I come back to my car I notice the lights had come on by themselves. No big deal I thought. Next thing I noticed was that I would pick a solid color to ride around on but by the time I got where I was going the color would have changed to something else on its own or started alternating colors. My car is not a daily driver. It stays in my garage all week. Last Saturday I open my garage and notice the lights are on. I go to start the car and the battery is dead. I've had this car 6 years and never needed a jump start. Wasn't the last time though. I started turning off the under-glow lights then taking the battery out of the remote. I'd STILL notice the lights come on by themselves. It got to the point that I would go open my garage everyday just to see if the d*** lights were on. TODAY I open my garage and boom the lights are on and the battery is dead AGAIN. WTF! 2 jumps in less than a week! Rather than going through the hassle of taking them off and installing a new set, I'll probably install a kill switch to ensure they don't get the power until I want them to. This is BS.

Easy to install, bright and work great!

Don't get suckered by the pictures how they make it sound in description! 1st of all the male& female parts that connects each led strip are cheap, not waterproof, and will lead to problems as the vehicle is exposed to the elements. It came missing the Positive & Negative wires as is shown on the website NO FUSE wiring to connect to vehicle battery. Not really in favor of drilling holes in order to run cigarette lighter plug as my power source. Shouldn't have to go out& spend more money for the proper wiring to run str8 to battery. Installed everything will say the backside of the led strips seemed to be decent when it came to the adhesive. After full installation, all wiring secured with zip ties looking good and when I went to test the different speeds or to the beat of the music patterns THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER! The 8 buttons on the bottom 2 rows of the remote are supposed change the speed along with patterns of the LEDs. A total waste of a day installing everything so all that works is each of the 8 colors individually by pushing each color manually while one is driving. Lol NO WAY I am crawling back under my vehicle only to take everything out. I have been installing led lights on a half dozen different trucks & 4 Suv's for friends and my vehicles over the years never have I seen such cheap quality Definitely will not recommend this item to anyone. Especially in today's economy folks can't be taken for $50 oh yah plus out of pocket for positive/negative wiring that was supposed to be included

This under-glow is amazing and you should buy it seller is good at solving any problems you might have.

Was trying to install in a Subaru Forester. After about 4 hours I determined it to be impossible. Maybe a pro could do it. the instructions say the control box is NOT water proof and must be installed in the cabin. The box is about the size of half a deck of cards. Connected to one end of the box is the power connector. On the other side is the connector bundle that splits into the 4 cables for each set of lights. Which means somehow either the box or the wiring bundle needs to go through a pass-through in the cars firewall. On my vehicle there was one accessible pass through. It was very difficult to get to and there was a large rubber grommet I’d have to remove first. At that point I gave up.I was able to thread a single wire which I was planning to connect to a switch and ultimately to the lighting kit.So just be aware, maybe check your car first to make sure there is an easy pathway to installing this. I feel some small changes to the design of the wiring could make this much easier to install. But I guess you can’t expect too much for one of these lower end kits.I did turn in on using the lighter plug and was really looking forward to it. The lights were bright and I liked the RF remote and not having to install a phone app.
