‘Jelly bean Sedum,’ commonly referred to as ‘pork & beans,’ adds a beautiful texture & unique height to succulent gardens. Use this plant to add vibrant greens & reds with a one of a kind shape & quality to your garden. Jelly bean Sedum grows upward on a thin spiraling stalk producing bean like leaves. When exposed to proper conditions This plant will develop beautiful bright Red tips! Scientific name: Sedum rubrotinctum origin: native to Mexico plant type: succulent size: up to 8” or 20 cm propagation: leaf propagate this succulent plant by breaking off a single leaf & allowing the leaf to sprout roots in a tray of soil. You may also propagate this succulent by taking a cutting from one of the stems about 1” or more in length. Allow the cutting stem to dry & callous over where the plant was clipped for a few days, & then place the cutting into moist soil. Avoid watering & keep out of direct sunlight until the plant has rooted (about 2-3 weeks) growth habit: bean like leaves on sprawling upward growing stalks. Light: full sun water: let your succulent dry completely Between watering cycles & always avoid any standing water near the plant. Pot your succulent in cactus & succulent soil mix with excellent drainage. Zone: 9 to 10 temperature: This plant does best in hot temperatures. During cold winter months, bring your ‘jelly bean Sedum’ succulent indoors near a bright sunny window, & keep away from frost. Fertilizer: fertilize your succulents in the spring & summer months big weekly with succulent fertilizer. Tips: jelly bean Sedum is extremely delicate & leaves can fall off easily, so handle with care!

Not as pictured
It is barely hanging in there. The color is supposed to be red but is black, i think because it is almost dead. I am going to have to nurse it back to health.
