The cross101 arctic adjustable camouflage weighted vest is a great way to add resistance to your workout. This is a great vest to start your cross training, strength training, and anything else you will need a weight vest for. The vest is one size fits most. The weights comes included. Good vest.
So I would recommend it definitely. But it rubs on my biceps pretty bad and I’m currently trying to figure out a way to block it. But I’m pretty sure any weight vest is going to rub in that spot just cuz the way it’s shaped. Ummmm over all it’s easy to add and subtract weights ( I saw comments that said otherwise & I think they’re probably just being big baby’s). Also the size fits. I’m 5”4 145# athletic build without muscle I would be 130 ish. And the vest fits nicely. I have good range of motion when I do weighted lunges with the vest on w/ dumbbells. It’s a bit bulky when I do weighted pull-ups ( again it’s my small size and not an issue w the vest. I make it work cuz I don’t make excuses). The strap around the torso is amazingggggg!!! Nice & snug with good security. I don’t wear a water bottle in my vest, however I do put my keys in empty weight slots or clip on the water bottle holder haha. Idk man I would buy this vest again and recommend it forsure. & ya I had an iced coffee in the pic.. rough night before haha!!

Highly Recommend.
This product was absolutely what I had in mind when I ordered it. It's not an over the top fancy smancy weighted vest, but it gets the job done. Since training with this weighted vest, I have had sex with 3 former Miss America winners from the 90s, and 7 from the 80s. Something about that weighted vest trained body has turned me into an irresistible hunk. So far I have seen 99% pros of this Cross 101 Adjustable Weighted Vest, and 1% con. The only con is that my wife has left me, although I do not care seeing how I'm getting sloppy from Miss Kentucky '88, and she has taken my cat, Harry, with her. Other than that, Highly Recommend.

Absolute quality.
I've read some reviews about this being 'uncomfortable after a while on the shoulders'. Well after a longer while, you get stronger and you no longer notice your wearing the vest at all. If it is that painful, you can take some weights out evenly, great design. It is high quality, one of the nicest and probably will last longer than anything I've purchased online. It is extremely comfortable for myself, I'm not the largest framed man- 5'10 190lbs but even if your a taller, larger person-even then It adjusts pretty well for size. This is a 5 star purchase to me. Wanted the 40lb but Im glad I went with the 20lb. Im going for endurance and static strength so for now it is perfect.

Kicks Your Workouts Into High Gear. But...
First, you'll probably want to consider buying some shoulder padding at the same time you purchase this vest. I'm not a small guy and I thought I could fairly easily manage an extra 40lbs on my frame. It turns out it's not the extra weight per se, it's the fact that it's primarily concentrated on the trapezius muscles of each shoulder. An hour-plus of that gets a little painful. So I ended up buying pads a week or so later. As for the vest: It's fine, if quite bulky. Up to 40 extra pounds to ramp up the intensity of every activity. I've used them during squats, cardio training on my elliptical or treadmill, or during other standing or even seated weight training exercises in which the extra bulk doesn't impede or restrict movement or comfort. No real complaints functionally. I read a few comments about an odor the new vest emits. I'd say there is one, but I don't find it particularly objectionable. I haven't taken it through a laundry cycle yet to see what neutralizing effect that has. The "weights" themselves appear to be cylinders of a finely grained sand, fairly easily removable to reduce the burden, though you have to be careful to maintain the balance of the vest. The velcro straps hold it firmly in place, even while jogging (treadmill). My other concern is a bit sensitive and personal, and I'm interested to see if these editors allow it. I only mention it because I want to be thorough with this review, and I feel it's something worth pointing out.I ordered the camouflage coloring, and when I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror before going out for a run, I have to say that it could look a bit (to the untrained eye) like I'm wearing a flak jacket or bomb vest. I may be overly sensitive here, but that doesn't seem like a very good look to be sporting these days. I think the vest also comes in black, but I'm not sure that would address my concern. Again, I may be alone in my thinking here, and you can do with this what you will. But I thought it worth mentioning. So I haven't actually gone outside running with it yet.All-in-all, these issues aside, I'm not displeased with the purchase. It does what I bought it to do, and it seems built to last.

Good product for a good price!
Bought this to wear for the low impact aerobics to start gradually increasing the intensity of my workouts. I use it for the typical things like planks, lunges, squats, tricep dips . . . When I perform exercises where I'm on my back, I just hold it like a weight.I bought this as my first weight jacket and don't plan on utilizing the full 45 lbs for my typical workouts for some time, but wanted to have room to increase weights. The material looks study enough. You're definitely not going to have to worry about it coming apart on you. The weights are sandbags which to be maybe twice as strong as heavy duty contractor trash bags by which I mean, pretty sturdy. I wouldn't advise throwing them around or hitting the ground with them repeatedly, but I can't see any issues with my intended use over the long term. When I tried putting it on with all of the weights to see how it felt, I could feel the strain in my shoulder region that some of the other reviewers mentioned. I can see how this would be an issue if you intended to run in the thing which I have no intention of doing. If one thing could be improved, I'd wish that the jacket allowed the weight to be distributed on more of your body than just your shoulders. The velcro system works perfectly in terms with tightness around the body. I'm a 6'6" 245 lb male. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't fit for someone with my height who weighs a little less given how the jacket is designed. Will update if I find any issues.

40 pound vest is very heavy
I have now worn it a few times to get used to it. It seems well made and sturdy. I have reduced the weight to 20 pounds and expect it will take me 6 months to a year to work my way up to 40. I am male, 155 pounds, and, btw, 70 years.

Great for military training
I am a 5'2 woman in the military and I use this vest to simulate ruck marches on the treadmill. It fits all the way to my hips as I am short but that is no problem for me. I don't use it for high intensity workouts. It is perfect and fits super well. The Velcro allows you to fit it to your body as snug or loose as you want. I don't get chafing as long as I wear a t-shirt instead of a tank top. The other reviews don't lie when they mention a fishy smell but that's only when the weight pouches get wet with sweat so maybe soak them 1st and let them dry completely before using the vest. I love that the weight is adjustable. Overall really good training vest.

Excelente producto

Great vest for the price tag
I bought the 20lbs vest for doing MURPH workouts. It is a little uncomfortable on the shoulders during the runs (I did not purchase the shoulder pads), but it is great during the pull-ups, push-ups and air squats. It you’re looking for a good quality weighted vest for CrossFit I would definitely recommend this product; but keep in mind if you’re going to be doing a lot of running this might not be the best option for you.

Satisfaite
