Nice n Dry
Purchase these for the hunting season and really can't beat them. Product as described and very light weight and portable, easy to attach and set up. Suggest if leaving at your stand you fold it up and don't leave it fully deployed as both strong wind and or heavy snow may damage and or destroy the umbrella. Works as it shoukd and has kept me out longer in bad weather.

Worth having if tree stand Hunter!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: PNW bow hunter here and this is my new favorite to keep me comfortable in the tree stand for longer on bad weather days. This is my favorite compared to other heavier set ups. I always take down after that stand (I don’t recommend leaving up for the season). I think it’s good value for price point given and worth having in the hunting kit. Coverage: Surprisingly good coverage blocking the rain. Get it tight and strapped down around tree and no issues in windy day either. Of set correctly I had no issues with blocking my bow or shooting lanes. Size: Enough to cover you in tree stand. Less coverage when saddle hunting if leaning back but still better than nothing. You can always pull in tight to tree to stay under coverage. Cons: I don’t love how you have to screw it into tree. I wish there was a better handle to screw it into tree more firmly.

Treestand umbrella
Well its an umbrella not a roof. Its pretty flimsy. Won't keep your dry in a downpour but it a drizzle its fine and works decently.

Easy setup.
When getting left high and dry is a good thing. I picked this up for the 2025 season after I sat in a torrential downpour for 5 hours last last season. I've done a few practice runs with it and it goes up pretty quick and easy. Luckily I haven't had to break it out during a hunt yet, but its light enough I take it with me everytime I'm headed deep in the woods just in case.

Poor Quality and Missing parts
I’ve owned at least a half dozen hunting umbrellas over the past 30+ years. Some sold by this company (Allen), and also some other brands. I “assume” they’re all made by one company and marketed under different names. Regardless of that, they’ve all been flimsy, finicky devices at best. They’re made using lightweight materials (by design), and they definitely won’t stand up to heavy rain, wet snow, or moderate to high winds. However, if you hunt from a tree stand, ladder stand (or even on the ground), these umbrellas are an essential piece of equipment. My new umbrella arrived missing three of the six straps used to secure it to the tree. I should have received a short, medium, and long strap for each side of the umbrella. I only received straps for one side, which makes the umbrella 100% useless. Fortunately, I have some leftover straps from an older (failed) umbrella, so I’ll be able to use those in the future. The umbrella mounting bracket was also problem. The mounting disc/grip stripped the threads on the screw shaft the first time I tried to use it. Couldn’t screw it completely into the tree, couldn’t screw it back out of the tree. Useless. Of course, all this happened in the woods, in the rain! Shame on me for not doing a proper inventory and testing the umbrella before heading out hunting! Buyer beware. I’ve had similar issues with the screw-in mounting bracket with other umbrellas in the past. I was able to fix the problem by adding an additional locking nut on each side of the mounting disc, and applying a couple drops of permatex thread seal before reassembly (see picture). Chalk it all up to a crappy design, that has never been improved/perfected. However… the real question is… why market/sell a device that needs to be “fixed” by the customer before it can actually be used. Allen Company could just as easily add locking nuts to their product during assembly. As for the additional couple cents that would add to production cost…I’d be willing to pay an additional couple bucks for an umbrella I could use right out of the box. As for the missing straps…? Guess I’ll just buy a different brand next time. See if they know how to count.

Dry
If you like to stay dry while hunting this is what you need. When you first start putting up it you want to cuss at it for a minute but the second it starts raining you’ll be praising it. Does the job and that’s all i need
