FLIEKS Harper&Bright Designs Twin Daybed with Trundle, Upholstered Tufted Sofa Bed with Nailhead Trim, Grey

I got this daybed for a small den space and all my visitors have given me tons of compliments on its style and quality.Packaging: Arrived in two huge, heavy boxes undamaged. One square box and one rectangular box. Hardware and instruction manual are located in the rectangular box. Hardware - screws, Allen keys, washers are in an orange plastic package. Product was protected by foam and packaging foam sheets. Trundle wheels are in a small cardboard box. Feet of the bed are in a small plastic bag.Assembly: I have arthritis, so it took me 2.5 hours with small breaks to assemble the daybed by myself. I also do not have much furniture assembly experience. I only have a screwdriver, so I’d recommend that you use a power drill to minimize your time. Just assembling the six wheels on the bottom planks of the trundle required 24 screws and it was the most time consuming part. The bottom of the bed can roll out completely and is detached. I recommend that you do STEP 4 (assemble the daybed’s ball feet) first. I also recommend that you separate all your hardware and count them before starting the assembly process because I was missing one large screw (there was a different bolt that kind of looks like the screw in the package, which I couldn’t use; It must be a small packaging mistake from the manufacturer).Mattresses: I ordered the mattresses separately on Amazon. I have a 9 inch for the top and an 8 inch for the bottom. You can kind of see the top of the bottom mattress through the crack. So maybe get a 6 or 7 inch mattress for the bottom if you don’t want to visibly see that bottom mattress. Eight inch does fit perfectly for the bottom, though.Sturdiness: Feels sturdy. I’ve stood on the bed to place wall art. Supports two adults (~400 lbs combined) with no problem.Other comments: Your feet may hang off the top of the bed if you’re taller than 6 feet. If you are going to use this as a couch, I recommend that you place it against a wall because the back part is black felt and not the same gray cushioned material as the front and sides. Also, exterior nail studs are a dark bronze color. I was trying to match a chair with it, but the chair had different colored nail studs.Overall, it’s beautiful and worth every penny.

First off, any reason California’s Proposition 65 is listed on this product posting?It took in all 30 min to put this thing together, it has absolutely no instructions so im sure there are many washers i didn't use.The fit and finish is ok, the craftsmanship leaves something to be desired....not everything fits absolutely perfectly but it fits quite well. My biggest gripe is the shipper did not deliver to my house but instead all the way by the road and so i had to carry the 2 separate big boxes up my driveway into the house.....It will take some final touches and design pillows to make it a stunner but it is a beautiful piece just dont expect very soft material or a comfortably plush tufted backrest.

We love this daybed. We had to return another bed from a different maker because it was of poor quality and made with cheap particle board. This was is very heavy and sturdy, strong enough to support 2 adult if they decided to sit on it together. Beautiful! My daughter who is changing to a more grown up bed loves it!
