Our family plants a fairly large garden and in order to reduce cost we plant from seed. Starting in February several large tables find their way into my office, and we begin the whole process of filling the starter trays and watching things germinate. Last year I purchased several clip-on LED grow lights from Home Depot. Within one year over half of these lights are in an unusable state, as errant water (through over spraying) got onto the timer computer chip. This pretty much blew out the light. This model has the control unit separate, which intelligently sits below the table. Water can't get into the unit. The Kingbo model has much longer lights and has twice the number of LED elements than the 4-light unit I purchased last year. They are twice as bright, more durable, and half the cost. After using them a full growing season I am very satisfied.

Light was good, worked well for our plants. It just died after two years so that’s a bummer.

My mother wanted to start her vegetable garden from seeds this year and these lights helped to start a greenhouse in her home. These lights have worked amazing and she now has so many vegetable plants that I have taken some to have my own garden. This is great for saving money on plants at stores that usually die and with fresh vegetable prices ridiculously rising, these lights have helped to start 2 gardens for very minimal money.

I loved this light. It was bright, gave off a pleasant glow, and my plants seemed happy. I liked the timer but didn't love the blue indicator light that flashed constantly. Sadly, a couple of weeks ago it started flickering and getting dim so i had to replace with something else. I thought about getting another one since I did love it when it worked, but don't want to have to replace again every two years.

I don't understand why it stopped working after 3 months. I was very pleased with the product when I received it. My plants were kept in the basement area with little access to natural sunlight. The lights were bright and fit perfectly in the spot for all the plants. Last week, the lights started turning on then shutting off. Now it does not turn on again at all. Luckily, I can put my plants outside during the summer months while I search for another indoor lamp for my plants.This is the first product I purchased that was a big disappointment. I don't know if I can return the lamp or if I want to at this point.

I’ve had mine for a little over a year and it’s now burning out

I bought these clip on plant lights a year ago. No problems at all with them. I use them mainly in the winter for my cactus and lithops and it helps keep them healthy during those cold cloudy days. Note- You do have to reset the timer after a power outage.
