This pouch seems to be of the same quality as ones over double it's price.

Its not as slim as you would probably want. Its not as slim as a kydex. Overall its a good holster.

Bought this and the HSGI Taco for a class I was taking. Wanted to compare the two. I am using standard polymer magazines. This one is holds the magazines well, almost too well. It takes some effort to slide the mag in the pouch, which is good for retention. However, it takes the same amount of effort to draw it out. The HSGI on the other hand, doesnt take as much effort to slide the mag in and out but seems to have the same retention. I have loosened this pouch some hoping that will help but i suspect its the material and not the tension that is preventing the mags from sliding. It might be different with metal magazines.Update March22, 2020: Took a class and ran these exclusively due to the HSGI sitting at a different height. I could not be happier with the purchase. There was no issues trying to reload on the go. They held the mags tightly in place. Never needed to replace the mags while on the go but it would have been harder to do so than a full kydex or hard shell holder. Didnt have an issue pull the mag out and they didnt move.

These hold magazines very well but the belt clip is a hassle to work and broke the first day I used it. It caught on something and before I even realized it was kind of hung up the clip snapped and my magazine was on the ground. Good thing they can easily be replaced but I don’t know that I want to be using something with such a weak fail point.

Have these on my range belt and my wife’s. We got to try them today. Worked out great for 6 hours at the range. Nothing fell out, and very secure on a 1.75” belt. Only thing to note is these are not competition holders, indexing them and inserting an empty takes a little work as they are soft sided. For longer mags get the large size they have. Those held my 27’s perfect.

I just received the two mag pouches but one of them has some dirt already inside the package before I even opened it. Other then that it's a great product, my mags don't fall out easily unless I whip the pouch with some force and it's easy to grab my mags to do tac reloads.

Sturdy holder, but does not fit on a duty belt or any thick belts other then your causal regular pants belt.
