Works in 2005 Subaru Forester XS (with a little bit of modding)
This was a good purchase considering the OEM one was totally split (like in two pieces split). HOWEVER, please be aware that the bolt pattern is shoddy at best. There are 4 holes total that allow it to be bolted to the transmission; two on each side. The two on each side are the right distance from each other, but after bolting on one side, the pattern was off for the other. I used a dremel tool to widen two of those holes a bit and once I did that, it bolted on just fine. That was annoying to have to do, but whatever. The bolt pattern for the crossmember was spot-on. This drastically reduced the shaking and made my shifting a bit smoother.Another note - it does not come with the castle grommet (officially the "cushion rubber stopper) that goes on the center bolt. You have to order that one from Subaru directly, but it's only like 7 dollars. And yes, you need it. Mine was shredded. That part number is 41022AE19A.

Close to OEM
The media could not be loaded. This was for my 2001 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon. I would like to give it 4.5 but I can’t. Reason why is because all but one hole didn’t lined up. It was off by 2mm. Which isn’t a problem if you have tools to make the hole a bit bigger. Besides that it went well and fit amazing.

Terrible copy, dont buy.
I would give 0 stars if I could. The holes for the transmission are off by a bit for an outback.

Mounting holes off
The mounting holes are off by about a 1/16" for a 2001. Will have to elongate holes to fit.
