Q: can these be put on a grill ? The description indicates that you can, yet the info that came with the shells states "oven & microwave safe".

I am not sure. We love the shells but have only used them in the oven. They make a beautiful presentation and are large. The size oysters we can get in our area, many times two will fit in a shell. Sorry we can be of more help.

No, they did not come with a tray or baking dish. However, they are amazing and very well made. I cook with the oyster shells often and I'm really happy with them. Their good quality.
