These are excellent and sturdy seed starter trays. They easily fit under Ferry-Morse grow lights; I can put 4 trays under each grow light. The lid works well for holding moisture in and can be adjusted for air flow. The bottom holds a sufficient amount of water to keep the soil moist for a few days. They have held up well over the last two years--no cracking or other deterioration with the lid and tray. They are easy to clean too. I will buy these again and highly recommend these trays.

Has worked very well, I grew basil, calendula, and borage using these. Works as intended. Smaller than I realized but not the biggest problem

I ordered these 6 compartment types so I didn’t have to be moving those larger trays around on my cage shelf. It’s easier to move or turn these 6 compartment planters.The individual soil compartments are slightly larger with these, I believe. The material is seemingly thicker, thus stronger for re-use year after year.The lids don’t snap on..they just sit there on top for easy on and off use.Only issue and it’s not really an issue is the tubs when stacked together are a bit troublesome to separate. For shipping they’ve figured out how to stack everything together pretty well.Would I buy again? Absolutely. But, these 10 units with 60 compartments (6 each per unit) is enough for my small spring gardening cage.They don’t include instructions about how to use the vents.I’ve already got sprouts coming up in 4 days with these, so, these are user friendly not knowing if I should leave the vent open or always closed.

These trays are easy to assemble, and so helpful. Our seeds fit in the cups well. The dome keeps in the moisture well and warm inside, so our seedlings popped up very fast! I wasn’t expecting them grow so quickly honestly, and I started them maybe 2-3 weeks too early lol. For some of my plants, like carrots and squash, I’ll have to put them in a bigger container and it’s only been a week.The containers breath well at the bottom and you can allow them to self water once the grow their own roots by filling the tray up with water. And I like being able to pick up the clear trays to check on the root systems. The kids think that’s so cool.

THESE ARE PERFECT!! If you're growing sprouts of any kind you want to monitor the root growth and expansion. The clear inset to these trays makes that easy and convenient. I've just turned out six trays of really healthy sprouts.
