SpitzSeasoned Sunflower Seeds, 6 Ounce, 12 Count

I reviewed these summer of 2019 and bought them again, I have attached my summer review and rereview to this one hope it helps you make an. Informed decision....The flavor was just not there very little caramel flavor, kind of bland with a little salt, the cost was double of any sunflower seeds I ever bough, but saw the reviews and thought I love caramel anything but this was blah flavor will not buy againExpected a rush of flavor this just didn’t meet the make at allNo wonder I couldn’t find any in the stores to try before spending the extra money , they suckFallow up time: OK here’s the deal I originally reviewed this product last summer of 2019 and to be fair I did do a good and accurate and fair review to start with but thought I would give em one more try, the next box I tried was 100% better, wasn’t super bold but wasn’t bland anymore actually it was present to the taste hint of sweet salty caramel flavor, not sure if they took all the negative reviews and made the product better of what or maybe I got just a bad batch either was it ratings for me I will go from 1 stars to ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ doesn’t happen I my world often but I like to be fair and Fair honest will be buying again in hopes they will taste good

I've been purchasing Spitz for quite a while and am a huge fan of their BBQ seeds, so decided to buy a case of them and a case of these Spicy Sweet Chili ones and honestly couldn't be much more disappointed..The BBQ ones are as good as ever and are expiring in mid 202 so I'm good, but the Chili one's I received in mid July and are expiring on Sept 1, 2019 and that seems a little soon and I'm guessing they've been sitting somewhere a while..Anyhow, whole point of the review is to state that there is truly ZERO so called"sweet" to these and all I got was the salty with a tad bit of spice/pepper at the end..They're really bad and I'm so waiting for a really good sweet n spicy seed so if one's out there please let me know..I do recommend the BBQ for a nice mellow BBQ taste but the Chili one's are just horrible and can't recommend at all. Edited**First bag may have just been really bad, seems the quality isn’t consistent. I ended up opening another bag bc I really needed something and it ended up being A LOT better. Still kind of eh about the use by date being less than a month away.Original below.Arrived later than expected in a plain cardboard box. I received all 12 bags, but was less than thrilled about the use by date being July 15, 2019... it’s June 22nd today. I opened a bag, I got the seasoned ones, and the seeds were frailer and smaller than the ones I’m used to getting from Spitz and had little to no taste. My husband added these to the cart and I’m really wishing I checked reviews and whatnot before purchasing, but at the time I thought they’re just sunflower seeds it’ll be fine. I was very wrong. These are absolute trash.

I just received these Spitz "Smoky BBQ" flavored sunflower seeds after doing an online search for the "best sunflower seeds." I wish I had never taken the time to do that because had I stuck to one of the traditional brands I'm more familiar with (you know the ones) I wouldn't be sitting here with a box of 12 bags of horrific tasting seeds that I couldn't bribe a starving squirrel to eat. They are stale, taste nothing like barbecue, and smell like an abandoned pantry passed gas.Knowing Amazon's return policy I thought, no big deal, I'll just send them back. After all, 11 of the 12 bags are unopened. But for seemingly unclear reasons (although I suspect that the seller knows these are awful and is just trying to lighten the load of their inventory), these are not returnable.Unless I hear back from Amazon or the seller based on my review, I will be dropping these off at my local park where furry critters will watch them slowly decay from a safe distance.

Had to wait almost a month to get twelve bags of no flavor. Going to buy another brand in a variety of flavors to mix with these to make these palatable.UPDATE: I mixed these in with another brand and really liked them that way. I would actually buy these again. The bag is pretty nifty. Maybe it's strange to comment on or notice, but I liked the "soft" plastic bags.

These were not what I expected . I’m not a fan at all. Not bursting with flavor and so not worth buying. I wish I could return for a refund. Also I bought a 12-ct and the exp. date is Dec. 2018 how would I even eat 12 bags in just a couple months. My husband and I loveeeeeee the smoky bbq flavor and when I buy us a bag from the local convenient store the exp date usually isn’t until May of 2019. Just please be cautious of this product before buying.

5 stars for Spitz, they are the best, but Amazon's Price, not so great. I'd give it one star for the price!! I love these Sunflower Seeds! But they are way cheaper at the local gas station. 1 lb. bag is 1/3 of the cost to buy locally and a 6 oz bag is almost 1/2 the price that Amazon sellers charge.

I purchased a 12 pack of these sunflower seeds, and the best by date is one month after I received them. The quality is terrible. The flavor is minimal. Definitely not the high-quality product I have bought in stores before. I would not buy these again online through Amazon.
