The media could not be loaded. I wanted a daily devotional, my husband bought me this for Christmas and it’s been my favorite gift of all time! This book comes from the vantage point of as the book is named “Jesus Calling” a direct conversation with him daily and added scripture that fits the conversation. I can’t tell you how many times the words have felt so meaningful and relatable. The daily reminder that this book gives me to trust in my relationship with him has been what I needed to start my day! I can’t recommend this book enough!

Sarah Young was awesome, I wish I had found her devotionals earlier I would have loved to have done this with my wife. Perhaps my wife does devotionals with Sarah in heaven now?I ordered 3 of these and sent one to both my grandkids in college, it is something we can do together even though we are apart. I was very pleased my grand daughter had brought hers home with her on Christmas break!! Anyway this is a very nice quality and size book. And I like the full scripture references in these. I had a smaller one that didn't have full scripture in it so I upgraded my copy too!

Helped my husband feel closer to God and guidance

This book has helped me through so much, that I've shared it with others and gave it as a gift. I've learned so much and it has opened my eyes, my heart and my soul, and my life's journey is now on track. I'm happier, more content and at peace than ever before. I have read it daily every year for 3 years and each time I still learn new things and grow. (This particular copy I bought for someone else.) If you are looking for guidance and enlightenment, this is the book for you. I'm closer to my Creator than ever before.

I first happened to find this book at Costco and love it so much that I have ordered 3 more here to give as Christmas gifts.It is written in the form of Jesus speaking to you, extrapolated from Scripture.I can't express how much I love this book and the blessing that it has been to me.

I read this book for the first time about 7 years ago and I recently re-purchased it to go through it again in 2025. Each day, it seems like Jesus is speaking directly through the author, and the topics are relevant and the entries are filled with compassion. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a manageable, easy-to-read daily devotional.

I absolutely love this author and love this devotional. It is leather bound and makes a great gift. It will make a great addition to your library or a gift for someone. I originally received this book from a friend when my adult son passed away, and I found it very helpful in my spiritual life.. A friend gave it to me and I will love her forever for sharing it. Now I I often purchase this book for friends who’ve lost the loved one. It’s a beautiful book and very easy reading.

I have read this book each day of the year for the past 10+ years. My husband and I read it every morning! It's amazing how each day can be so pertinent to what's going on in our life at that time!
