HONESTLY EVERY CAT OWNER NEEDS A LITTER MAT. It changed my life. Only maintenance I do on it is picking it up by grabbing the four corners, taking it outside, shaking it off and putting it back down/ easy peasy (I do that once a week)! The litter shakes out of it so easy & if you want to wash it just spray it down with the house and hand it over the fence to dry (drys very quick)!I won’t lie and say that all the litter stays on the mat, some does still get outside the mat BUT it’s a day to night different in the amount of litter around the house. I sweep around the mat maybe every two weeks there is only a couple pieces of litter here and there. Makes a BIG DIFFERENCE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The price is great too! Im ballin on a budget.

This mat is BY FAR the best litter-catcher I have ever used. And I've had indoor cats for over 20 years!! Mat catches and holds the litter my kitties kick out until I vacuum it up. Wish I'd found this mat years ago. I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE under my cats' litter box. Terrific!!

In the 22 years since having my first cat, this is by far the best cat litter mat that I’ve ever used. The size is absolutely perfect in the 4’x4’ half bath off the laundry room that we use. I measured the area first and went with the smaller size, which fits perfect under the wall hung sink beside the toilet. It has enough room for both the hooded litter box and Litter Genie to sit on while trapping the cat litter. I was really impressed with the texture of this mat, more pliable and flexible, yet not thin and flimsy. Unlike other mats before would either be ridged, pokey or stiff for the delicate paws of my cat. She had no hesitation stepping on it after putting it in. I did however lay and leave it out for a day in an open area upon receiving it, allowing it to lay flat from being folded from shipment. I must also mention that there has been no strong plastic or chemical odor upon opening and using it. I love how easy and fast it is to clean using my vacuum wand with a crevice tool attachment. It is definitely nice walking in to not seeing cat litter scattered on the floor and hardly noticeable with the gray mat that I chose. Highly recommend this mat to anyone wanting to control the cat litter area.

I bought this pad based on the reviews left on Amazon. For once I can say these reviews are spot on!I purchased one extra-large one to go under the kitty litter pan up at our cottage, our cat is constantly tracking litter, especially now that he’s older. This mat captures a good 90% of the litter each and every time. All I do is shake it outside and it’s good to go.I’m definitely going to be buying more For home use.

I bought one of these mats for the cat box. I then purchased a second one for me, a 79-year-old man, to be used as a bathmat. It has been the best purchase I have made in years. I live alone and it has totally made it safe for me while stepping out of the bathtub. A great item for human use too.

This has made a huge difference in my litter upkeep! It’s large so it catches litter that my cat kicks around both in front of and on either side of the litter box. Limits my need to vacuum as frequently because of the bigger size. Litter gets caught even after he’s taken a few steps out of the box. Easy to vacuum or shake out. And a subtle color/design. A must have for cat owners!

Moved into a temporary place while moving for work pre-lock-down, and discovered that it was fully carpeted in any area a cat box could go. Having had cats for a while, young or old, and knowing there are bound to be misses and over-burying, I needed a solution to protect the carpet from damage. My solution included a large office chair plastic mat, with this trapping mat on top of that, and an open-top cat box positioned topmost. Just now getting out of temp space, but have had a long time now with the mat.On the Pro side - it does a really great job of capturing and containing the litter that normally sticks to paws. Almost none escaped the area. When over-burying events have occurred and they dump a large amount of litter over the side and then walk on that, again there is great containment. Lastly, the two times there have been urine accidents, the mat did a fantastic job of containing that as well. One of the times based on where the source of the accident was, although the mat didn't contain all of it, it kept any large, rapid flow from happening, and attracted the spillage to go under the mat (which was on the plastic chair mat) - so no leakage to the carpet.On the neutral side. As others have mentioned, cleanup isn't as straightforward as running a handheld vacuum over it. I would also say that even an upright isn't going to cut it. I did find that a proper clean of the mat when dry required treating it like any other rug and taking it outside, doing a heavy shake, and then a few hits with a broom to get litter all out. If wet, it required a hose to "power wash" it down. Fortunately it dries pretty fast in the sun. I am not sure what I would do to properly clean this if I didn't have an outdoor space.Bottom line - great product.

This mat has been very good for my 2 cats' litter boxes. The one mat is home for TWO litter boxes and so I expected some litter to still be on the floor, which it was, BUT, it's only the tiniest amount in comparison -- as in about a dozen grains compared to 1/4 cup! I am eternally grateful! Now as to the scent of the mat: yes, it smelled of petroleum when I unwrapped it, but I followed the instructions and unrolled it and actually just draped it over my tub for a day. The next day, barely a scent, but decided to drape it over a railing for another day. Bingo, no smell. I put it down, put the litter pans on it with 20" of the mat showing in front of the boxes as that's all the room I had, and within the hour, both cats had stepped onto the mat and used their boxes with no problems at all. Turns out that 20" of an entranceway to the boxes was just fine! I am so very happy with the Mighty Monkey mat and what a relief not to be sweeping up litter so many times a day. Fabulous!

Love it. Good quality. I got the biggest size and I have no more mess to clean. I have 3 cats and I always had litter everywhere but this carpet holds it in. I highly recommend this product

Very durable and self trapping mat. Traps the litter off the paws as the cat jumps out of his litter box. Not a mess on the floor like I use to clean up. Great product.

Tengo un año casi con el tapete y ha aguantado los rasguños y mordidas de mi gato, además de que tiene un buen tamaño para cubrir el piso de la arena que pueda salir del arenero
