So glad I found it!UPDATE: I’ve been using this charger for a couple of months now and all is still well. No overheating...no fires...it’s great and I wouldn’t hesitate buying it again! Still 5-stars!This is the second "spare" charger I've purchased during the lifetime of my MacBook Pro -- a kitten ate the first, a puppy ate the second. You'd think I'd learn, but no...Anyway, I had zero desire to shell out the big bucks for an OEM charger, and I was petrified of the bad reviews of fires starting and such with the knockoff lookalike chargers on the market. Then I came across this charger and I decided to take a chance.It's solid, heats up only a little bit during use, and even comes with convenient extras for traveling. I'm not sure what the manufacturer did, but even the design of the magnetic tip seems more secure than my OEM charger was.I've only used it a few times so far, but I'm incredibly pleased with it. And I'm keeping it in its travel case. Because pets.

Works just like the Apple product
It looks a little different but works just like my Apple 85W MagSafe 2 charger. I'll have to wait and see if the cord is stronger/will last longer without fraying, vs. the Apple product.Thanks!

Works dang well
I'm not a big fan of aftermarket chargers and such, but my 15 y/o 24" Mac monitor I use with my MB Pro had the power jack that connects to the laptop die, so this was a quick fix. I'm not crazy that the brick is right on the plug, since it sags on the outlet, but it doesn't overheat, provides a steady power supply, and the jack to the MB Pro fits perfectly. I'm very happy with this.

Outlasts my REAL chargers
This charger may not be as long as the Original Apple Chargers, but it has lasted longer than 3 of my real Macbook Pro chargers. The other ones would get untouchably hot, and eventually crack, leaking fluid, or just stop working. Surprised at how well this charger has held up. And at a fraction of the cost. Definitely a good buy

Such a good travel upgrade
If you’ve ever tried traveling with the standard power supply for a 2014 15” MacBook Pro, you’ll know it’s an absurdly bulky component.This solves the problem: while not light weight, it’s compact and provides a reliable charge without overcharging if you leave it connected.This is the next best thing to having a MacBook Pro that has USB-C charging bricks that are more compact than the old school ones like the 2013-2015 models... but to get those modern chargers you have to upgrade to a MacBook Pro you can’t open or type on or charge without breaking or catching on fire.This is a great little upgrade to keep a good machine running well.

Works great but is noisy and hot
Found this to replace my charger that died. I've been using this for about 3 months now. It works great, charges the MacBook just fine but it makes an odd noise when it's plugged in and it heats up quickly! I always put it straight back into the baggy it came with once I'm done. However, once it's done charging (when the laptop is closed), it'll cool off.

Buying this is a pro gamer move
I got a carrying pouch, OMG it’s crazy soft, so if I gotta go imma put it in that, it’s charges Great, charges fast. Glad it’s not big a wide like the original ac adapter.
