Great value for the cost.

I was t-boned in 2003 and have suffered from sciatica and damage to my C3 & L5..which runs from my neck to my lower back..sciatica makes it run all the way down my hamstring into the bottom of my feet. To say it’s painful is an understatement, it also burns, is stiff and it makes it difficult to sit for prolonged periods of time and/or stand.I worked out for years and also had a massage envy account for 10+ years, would see a massage therapist at least once to two times a month (sometimes more), a chiropractor and did yoga to help ease the pain/tightness after my workouts…specifically in the areas of injury.I had to cancel my massage envy account because I simply did not have the time to go as often as I did in the past and had weeks of therapy sessions available. I also had to cancel chiropractic services because it’s just too expensive to see someone on a consistent basis.My last chiropractor utilized cupping and it did wonders, although painful it seemed to really release the tension in my nerves and muscles fairly quickly. So, I purchased this through Amazon and received it through prime so it took 2 days to arrive. It’s an a sturdy buttoned box that comes with a number of cups some smaller than others. It’s so easy to use and you don’t have to be a chiropractor to know where the cups belong.I’m not a doctor so you may want to seek medical advise before using it…I however know my body and know what an inflamed nerve feels like so I cup the areas and if need be follow it up/down, across, etc.I utilize medlines active ice and spray accessible areas (when my husband is available he usually does this on my back for me) that are inflamed. Today, the nerve aches from the base of my neck to the sciatica (see pic).I’ve saved thousands of dollars since buying this, every once in a while I’ll see a chiropractor for an adjustment but when I need immediate attention to a specific area, this is my go to! I love this system and cannot imaging my life without it. My elderly family members rely on medications to ease the discomfort of past injuries…this will be my saving grace as I age.It leaves round bruising most times but it’s bc it’s increased blood circulation in those areas which help relieve muscle tension.If you have chronic aches and pains, don’t hesitate to buy this!

Great set, bought a few years ago. Hard plastic does break if dropped. Cupping is a great modality. Know what you're doing before purchasing to not hurt yourself or other people. I prefer silicone cups now because you can slide them. Hard plastic cups are static (stay in one place).

more than 5 stars!! i have wished to add cupping into my massage practice. i have wished to have the tools for myself too. after careful research, i decided to take the plunge and go for this set. it is well worth the money. it comes in a wonderful organizer box which is a fabulous presentation but just makes everything easier. it is super easy to use. 1. 2. 3. and you are in business. (i got the kenneth choi cupping therapy for muscles & joints book for a refresher course of sorts. there are things you do not wish to do, so this could be helpful, esp if you are a novice. it is a very easy & understanding read.) i then set about working on myself one evening. how could i not. the tube extender for when you are working on yourself could be longer. a foot more would be super helpful but nothing i could not work around. oh baby did i feel relief from some fairly severe hate in my hips and lower back. the fire was quelled quite a bit and then even more when i went for it again the next day. the edges are very smooth and work well with movable cups. i have only had them a couple days but everything seems well made to last. i used them on a clients inflamed knee this morning. (very old injury that has bothered him on/off for about 19years. we work on it & it gets better but comes back every so often. today is was so swollen & he was not walking well.) he could not believe how amazing it felt. he was truly astonished. he added another half hr onto his appt just to get more cupping. he was walking much more spry by the time he left. if you want a cupping set, this is the one i would go for. hope this helps someone in their decision process.

My 85 year older Aunt has terrible knee pain even after having knee surgery in her 50s. She said the pain is so bad she can barely walk. I sent her this cupping set. She had never heard of cupping so I explained it’s like a hickey it pulls the blood (and if you take pain medicine) right through all the tissue saturating them with blood and medicine. So she got them the next day opened it up and read the instructions I told her put a little lotion on the area because the cups stick better and you can slide them around if they aren’t quite in the right spot. So she put a little lotion on and read the instructions and went to bed. She said today”they work great” I didn’t have any pain all night! Normally I have trouble sleeping because of the pain and I feel great even today!She asked well I wish I could use them on my back.. I said well that is what that extension tubing is for .. connect the cup and the tubing and the little pump all together then with your left hand hold the cup in place and pump with the right hand. She was happy to hear that their is tubing to help it reach…Great device for everyone but the fact that my 85 year old Aunt used it without me physically being there to show her (I live in another state) means that this is a device you really should just buy and not have a second thought about it.
