Quality product but less expensive if larger size is purchased. We use this product to make salad dressing in addition to flavor finished dishes.

While this arrived in double layers of bubble wrap, I discovered the bottle had olive oil dripping down the outside like some had leaked out. The seal did not seem to be broken but the cap seemed to turn. Bottle seems full but this was a bit disappointing given the cost of the product.Edit: After having used this product for several weeks now, I am impressed with the taste despite the problems with packaging.

I've been using Masserie Flavorful Extra Virgin Olive Oil for well over a year. I can dribble a little of it over almost anything (except dessert) to add a lovely flavor. Even though one isn't supposed to waste good olive oil on cooking, I do cook with it and find it does nice things to vegetables and fish. It's good in place of butter on toast. Since olive oil is heart healthy and this one is not overly expensive, I probably use it more than anything else in my kitchen.It is hard to find, so I'm delighted that Amazon makes it available.

I work with olive oil all the time and know how to store it. Bought this a little over a month ago. I stored in a cool dark pantry unopened. Finally used up my other bottle (different brand) and cracked this lid open to start dinner and it has that overwhelming "band-aid" smell that expired olive oil has. Will have to throw it out as it's too late to return. Would have tested it as soon as it arrived but did not want to start the clock on the short life span olive oil has. What a waste of money! If you get it, test it right away.

This is a very high quality oil.It has a peppery finish and a nice olive flavorNot too heavy, not too light.It is great to add to finished dishes as well as to cook with. Great on salads.
