Whizzotech Solder Wire 60/40 with Flux Rosin Core for Electrical Soldering 1lb Diameter 0.023 Inch/0.6mm

This is my "go to" solder for commercial products. I have been using it for many years. Works exactly how it is supposed to. Always gives a good, clean, solder joint.It isn't the cheapest solder out there, but it is one of the best.

The value for the money is the best feature.

I recently lost, then found my roll of this solder (shop relocation). I made the mistake of purchasing another brand of 60/40 rosin core solder, boy was that a mistake. I ended up ordering another roll of this brand to keep around incase I misplace this roll again. Very good quality and excellent flow characteristics. Definitely worth the time using.

My friend had bent one of the pens of the CF card slot in my Nikon D700 so I had to buy a new card slot to put into it. This Solder worked great in getting the contacts of the new part stuck to the main board of my camera. now I can use my D700 again :D

I am picky about my solder and have worked with many garbage brands. Finally I have come across this brand which isnt as good as the good old radio shack or tenma brand from back in the days but very close.This solder wets and flows well. It doesn't have a ridiculously high melting temp but high enough to not break down on hot components. It doesn't oxidize too fast and has a well proportioned amount of flux the entire roll so all solder joints look bright and shiny. It's alloy content makes it possible to solder to many items for odd situations such as steel. And it's a perfect size for most projects.

Flows nice and easy. Put the pins on a LCD display with no problems.

works very well and no weird spots like some other brands.

Used this with some flux paste and soldering my custom usb-c cables is a breeze. This is the first solder I purchased to try and I have no reason to try another or return it.

Arrived promptly but was shipped the wrong size, wanted 0.6 bit was sent 0.8mm. Not the end of the world but for my projects 0.6 works better.

It's advertised as 60/40, but it act like Lead-free solder.
