I live in Houston, where power failures are basically a tradition. Thunderstorm = no power, for at least a couple minutes. Which meant resetting my clock (and microwave & everything else) several times a week in rainy weather. But not any longer! This clock takes up very little space but the digits are 2" high and readable from across the room, even with my 80-year-old eyes. (I got the red version but there are several other options.) Thee are 4 levels of brightness so it's easy to find one you like. Note that it's not battery *operated*, though -- that battery acts as a UPS for at least a few minutes and saves your various settings until the power comes back, which is really all I needed. Not at all expensive, either. Well recommended

Clock is great. nice big numbers and the brightness is adjustable. I have been looking for a good clock for the bedroom one I could see the numbers at night at a glance from across the room and this is the one. It also has a battery compartment for travel, use without power like tenting, or in the case of power outages it will keep time with no need to reset it. Comes with a detachable USB cord so no cord to bother with if using it portable. The numbers also have a selection of colors though I only use the white. Have not tried the alarm portion of the clock because I don't use it for an alarm clock currently.I love the clock and would recommend you give it a try. I think you will be pleased.

Bought in July of 24' for $14.99 (blue lit model). We got this to go in our TV area. In the old days you could see what time it was without looking away from what you were watching. Anyway, this clock is great for that purpose. The numbers about 2" tall, so can be read easily from 15ft. The brightness options are a bit suspect, at least on ours. We have 'pretty bright', 'noticeably bright' and 'sun level, light the room bright'. For us, it's no problem. We use the low level and it works great as a night light in the main room. It may be a bit bright for use in the bedrooms of vampires and other lovers really low light.

I bought this clock for the bedroom. I wanted the numbers to be large enough so I could read it without my reading glasses but yet I didn't want it so bright that it would interfere with sleep. The lowest brightness works for me. I will admit that it's so dim that it's hard to read during the day. I haven't tried the alarm because I use my phone for that.I gave four stars because it would have been nice if the brightness had one setting for the day and another for overnight.

This clock is perfect for my sunroom. I can’t attest to the alarm capabilities because I don’t need an alarm in the room. The numbers are bright and large with the white rectangular shape being very modern. My electricity has gone off once for 20 minutes and as soon as it came back on so did the clock with the accurate time. I’m very happy with it.

This is a great simplistic alarm clock and is so easy to use! Nice big display that you can dim to the way you like it at night. I could not find this type of clock anywhere, but I luckily found it right her on Amazon and saved me so much time running around from store to store.

Finally a decent priced clock that keeps actual time! I need a few clocks around basement to help kids and adults in gaming areas not lose track of time. Other clocks I've bought with more bells and whistles lose time consistently so the time is never right. I can't even explain how something digitally can lose time... and not with power outages!These work great and bought a rgb color one as well for our arcade area.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it. Nice large numbers easy for her to see and she keeps hers bright so it doubles as a night light. It doesn’t take up too much space on her night stand either.
