not quite as good battery life as the original “GoPro Oh No” batteries as we call them. I charged mine with a complex smart charger and they took 946 MAh and the other took 912 MAh to reach 100% capacity from 0%. so their extremely less MAh than the description/title states! WHICH IS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE AMAZON, just search amazon for “portable Jump Starter” and click basically all of the sub 100$ jump packs (even the NOCO branded overpriced ones) and they state anywhere from 12,000-30,000 MAh.. we tested around 35 of them over the course of 4 months (buying and returning for false advertisement) and almost all of them were anywhere from 50% to a max of 70% of the stated capacity.. don’t believe me?? go to the questions search bar and type in “mah” an read the comments... there’s been hundreds of tests showing the false advertisement but amazon doesn’t read our reports and continues to let people who believe what they read...to get screwed over and it’s WRONG! if someone lied to my grandmother to get her money for a product, and it was complete lies on top of lies...i’d be on my way to go take her money back.. period!! so why even let them run their slander and lies??same goes for these exact batteries!! 1200-ish MAh ??? NOPE!!! not even 950 MAh.. and the discharge is unreal compared to the “gopro oh no’s”PROS-Even while lying about the capacity, their still dirt cheap compared to the gopro oh no’s batteries, so rather you get 900 MAh or get lucky and receive all 1200 MAh, you get more recording time for less money! around 20-23 minutes tops on 4k-work perfectly-charger is fine as wellCons-capacity is a bold face lie!-912 to 946 MAh max —76% to 78% of what the manufacturer CLAIMS they are..- get a little toasty in the Gopro- cheaply made china stuff at its finest!bottom line???buy them if you cant afford better quality batteries, they work, they charge, and they come with a charger as well.. more bang for your buck by far then gopro gives, regardless if the capacity is not anywhere near what is stated.

There aren't a lot of quality options available anymore for the GoPro5 camera. My last set of cheap batteries for this camera were the same brand; SmilePowo. They lasted for a few years and then started to decline. I don't believe they are as good as the name brand batteries. For my GoPro9 I bought some cheap batteries also and they MELTED. Nasty FRIED battery smell and ruined the charger and batteries. I swore after that experience I would only buy GoPro name brand batteries. Unfortunately I can only find a single battery for the GoPro5 for $45. This set is $25/$30 with (3) batteries and a charger. My GoPro5 is beat up and ready to retire so this will keep the life for a little longer. According to Amazon this is the same charger I purchased previously but it is actually different (hopefully improved). One disadvantage is that it doesn't hold in the batteries very well. I usually charge on the go and I'm not sure how well that will work with this charger. It's more of a gravity fit to hold in the batteries. I am happy to see that it has a USB-C type charger as well as the Mirco USB.

The batteries fit and work just like the GoPro ones, but the "extra" capacity just isn't there. I use it daily on a 1 hour walk and the 2 year old GoPro battery is at roughly 40% when I finish. I was expecting more life from these with the added capacity, but they both finish at 40% or below the same as the 2 year old lower capacity GoPro battery. As for the charger I like the display and it works perfectly for the GoPro battery but will only charge these to around 80%. Charger says fully charged and put it in GoPro and it reads 80%. If I use the GoPro charger I have it will get them both to 100% but as I said earlier there does not appear to be any extra capacity compared to the stock GoPro batteries. With that said would I buy them again, Yes. They work as expected and are lower cost.

The batteries last a lot longer than the oem GoPro junk that comes with overpriced camera! The charger charges batteries faster than the original way to charge from GoPro (using their proprietary usb to overpriced camera). Gopro should be ashamed of their batteries and the costs of a new battery. These are waaaay better!!!

Traveling with GoPro always has one challenge running out of charge during the long drives and hikes. Impressed with the quality of the product. It comes with 3 batteries which can be charged simultaneously with out any issues. I got them charged in around 2 hours. So that is an excellent way to get batteries charged quickly and each battery lasts around 2 hours, of course depending on your usage. So having 3 additional fully charged batteries is a best gift.Pros: Compatible with GoPro, Simultaneous charging ability, hold of charge, easy to carry for travel.I really loved these and would recommend to friends and family who are interested in buying additional pack of batteries for GoPro's

I wasn't sure about getting off-brand replacement batteries for my GoPro Hero 5 Black, but I'm sure glad I did! No issues with compatibility and I would bet I actually get better battery life out of these than the original one that came with the camera. Great deal on some great batteries!

When the batteries are fully charged using its' included charger, my GoPro (Hero 5 Black) recognizes it as 89% - 91% charged (both batteries). I have to recharge the batteries inserted into the GoPro to get it 100% charged. Weird!!!! Also, with the SmilePowo generic battery inserted into my GoPro and installed with the GoPro Karma Gimbal and Drone, the GoPro will NOT turn on. This is a huge disappointment for me. Overall, the batteries are cheap enough to be carried as an emergency backup. You shouldn't expect this to perform like OEM battery of course, although I sure wanted/expected it to be.

changed with a spare from house. it lit up and seemed to charge right away. there's a procedure on what to connect first, honestly I didn't get it so I'm connecting the unit to power and then I plug the batteries.can't testify on the quality of batteries, but I guess- and expect them to be fine.

Nice LCD display, fast shipping. Charged up no problem. Worked fine in my gopro 5. Not sure how well the batteries will hold the charge.

The only difference between these batteries and the original GoPro is the price tag.
