It’s very big
The media could not be loaded. It’s a very nice made piece of equipment and do the job very well. It's a little big and heavy, about 2kg but thus better for training shoulders while training forearms. It is not very portable to take on a trip due to its weight and size according to my opinion and for that purpose it would be better to buy the pro plus version. It makes a little noise when using it but it's not annoying. The grip is very good and large so it helps to have more grip strength and more strength on the wrists. It's expensive but I recommend buying it since it has a lifetime warranty and do the job what is designed for.

Long wait removed shine of arm exerciser.....
I was again looking for an arm exerciser, having tried the Bullworker, Bodyblade, Powerspin and Dynaspin. All these affore mentioned, handheld contraptions all had something wrong with the basic principal of their operation, especially for the mature practioner - especially when it came to the stress placed on joints. So looking for another arm exerciser I can across wrist and forearm developing machines; so as you do, you research, study, compare until you come across the ultimate incarnation of said device; in this case the Sidewinder Pro Extreme. So I viewed all the You Tube blogs and read the reviews; ordered one and after two weeks one eventually turned up.Well, I was underwhelmed as it turned up in a brown card box; no instructions, no guarantee form or registration form or manual of any kind; just oblong box and bubble wrap! Are you kidding me ....bubble wrap! So presentation greatly lacking for heafty price tag their asking.Out-of-the-box the Sidewinder Ex-Pro is bloody big, even bigger than on the You Tube vids, yes it's over engineered, heavy with a lot of craftmanship having gone into making the steel spring and the aluminium body. The rubber is good quality and does not appear to have been used previously....hmm. I started using twisting the Ex-Pro immediately and found it silent and smooth; no ratchetting (that might have helped) of squeeking. I've only had it a few days and already thinking of retuning it as it appears to have been used already; how do I know it's likely second hand? I twisted the resistance knob to its maximum setting and with some effort was able to twist the handles! According to one of the You Tube blogs; on only the second setting it should be nearly impossible to even twist the handles - making this a professional level piece of equipment; but here I am bossing ti on it's first day!!! The Sidewinder came with one bit of paper instruction new owners to unscrew the adjustment knob to it minimun tension so the steel spring can keep it tension longer. I appears the previous owner could not be bother to do the (although the outside is immaculate). So there you have it; the great and glorious Sidewinder Extreme Pro (at least what was sent to me by Amazon) Possibly second hand, max setting mastered (with considerable effort) and whopping great price tag all contribute to me seriously thinking or returning this thing to Amazon; the only thing stopping me is during this Corona Virus Outbreak, I can't wait for another 2-3 weeks for a replacement. So I'll see how it goes and post update for you guys soon. There are alternative arm exercisers (mentioned about, but best suited to 30-somethings) I have found an alternative and which appears, by You Tube vids, to be very affective in developing muscularity.********* 2nd UPDATE ***********Well well....the pendulum swings back the other way????Greetings again fight-fans, as above, Mr. T (our official UK Sidewinder dealer) did challenge/suggest I contact Mr. Nieman to confirm that said Mr. T is in fact a bonefide UK dealer; or that I should check out the 'Sportgrips.com' website for instructions on how to use the Sidewinders.Well as the Corona Virus would have it; with too much time on my hands I did pay the Sportgrips.com website a visit. Now with regard to my Sidewinder Pro Extreme not coming packed in its retail box, no instruction or gurantee card; but only a piece of paper telling the user to leave the winder on its minimum setting when not in use. The following is what I found (and cut and pasted) from the Sportgrips.com website: PLEASE NOTE TEXT BETWEEN STARS!Where and how is the SideWinder® made? The SideWinder is made in the USA with steel tubing, machined aluminum and neoprene handles. (The Revolution #1 and Grip Twister #4 have knurled handles) It contains no plastic parts that can wear and eventually break. Just like Mom used to say, you get what you pay for!Which model is right for me?The Revolution #1 and the Pro Plus #2 are perfect for anyone starting a workout regimen or involved in rehabilitative therapy. And the SideWinder Pro Xtreme #3 is made for the toughest of you, such as the professional athlete. The Grip Twister#4 was designed specifically to build strength in the hand, wrist, fingers, thumbs and forearms along the way. Ideal for sport enthusiasts and the professional athlete as well as rehab. What else do I get with my SideWinder®?*********************************************************************************************************************************EVERY MODEL comes with a full-color brochure with instructions for using your SideWinder. It also includes photos and explanations of the various grips and exercises you can do with your SideWinder.*********************************************************************************************************************************How do I clean my SideWinder®?Clean your SideWinder using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Thoroughly dry the SideWinder. Never submerge your SideWinder in water. Never place your SideWinder in sand, dirt, chalk, or any gritty substance which could cause the mechanism to bind up.How often should I use my SideWinder®?You should use your SideWinder at least three times per week for a minimum of 20 repetitions per exercise. Be sure to visit the Using your SideWinder page and the Your Workout page for more information about the various exercises.HMMM.....So once again, the Sidewinders sold by Amazon thru Mr.T do not come in retail packaging or with ANY OF THE MATERIAL THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE SUPPLIED WITH ALL SIDEWINDER MODELS.....RIGHT!?Look, Mr.T and Sidewinder Team, I know Amazon reviews don't usually go back-and-forth like this; but I believe I've made my point: for some reason (production and distribution costs maybe?) Sidewinder have chosen NOT to send instructions and other material with their winders, when distributing them outside of the USA. That's on them; there is nothing we can do about it, especially at a time when the would is facing a Viral Crisis. But for the sake of Trades Description Act and plain honesty all those INVESTING IN A SIDEWINDER - ESPECIALLY THE VERY EXPENSIVE SIDEWINDER EXTREME PRO, SHOULD BE A LITTLE CLEARER EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING TO COME THROUGH THEIR DOOR AFTER THEY'VE SPENT THEIR £170 PLUS QUID.Mr. T, feel free to reposte....we all have too much time on our hands lately )))))).

Pro extreme
Well made and should last. Really works the forearms and wrists. I'm glad I purchased the pro extreme with the thicker grip, I've read some people saying it is harder to grip, but my hands aren't particularly big and it fits my grip no problem.I only tighten it to the second ring at the moment (half way), and I get a good workout. As my arms and wrists get conditioned to it, I'll increase the tension, but I don't think there is much chance of ever progressing to the point of using the full tension.Because they are imported from the U.S without the retail packaging, it comes well packed in a plain box, but it is a legit brand new unit. I've contacted the seller Tim, about availability of other items in the Sportgrips range and he was very approachable and helpful.

Solid Beast
Excellent product. Expensive yes and perhaps overly so, however the build quality is superb and I expect it to last a lifetime so for me it’s a price I was prepared to pay. Does it do the job I expected? Early days but initial experiences are overwhelmingly good.

Pleasantly surprised
Came in undamaged, unscratched, tried it out, the resistance was on point, resistance-wise it will definitely last a lifetime, quality-wise - we'll see, for now, I'm very satisfied

Forearam and grip strength improvements...of course
Sturdy construction, easy to toggle tension, simple to use. Not a cost everyone would accept but it does everything I wanted it to do. Would recommend.

Excellent.
