The best of these timers that are out there that I've ...
The best of these timers that are out there that I've found. Whereas some of them have VERY small icons showing you what manual mode you're in, this unit uses "ON", "AUTO", and "OFF" - super simple and easy to read. My only complaint with the units is that they don't keep very good time and run at different rates. In other words, after a week, one timer will be 20 seconds ahead of the other. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you use them in conjunction with on/off lighting timers that are coordinated to door openings/closings controlled by this(these) timer(s). Either you have to reset the time on the timers regularly OR make the windows of operation far wider than necessary to make sure one doesn't get ahead of the lighting, etc...........

works OK
it's really handy for some applications. It's cheap. You get what you pay for. It's manufacturer is unknown and it's sold by lots and lots of asian companies as though it's their own. The programming / operating instructions are very, very poorly written in terribly broken english. This performs the same functions as the "THC15" timer, but is a different package and terminal style. To use it's capabilities for anything beyond a once a week or once every day program will take lots of time and playing around.

Good Timer. Small Buttons
Timer works fine. Easy to program. Buttons are kind of small and are all the same size and shape. Would be easier to use with a better design like similar items. That having been said, this timer is fully functional at a much lower price than similar items. Note - you will need some 1/4” automotive style push-on connectors, not included

OK timer
Works as advertised. Kind of big for what it does, plus it needs a box. I've owned this exact same timer in other devices... it's good for about 4 or 5 years. Nothing "user servicable" inside.

like it
I spend 5-6 months living in Baja, off grid with solar panels.I need cold beer, and food for 10 days- grocery storeis an hour away.My 12 volt fridge crapped out (pun intended). So I'm going with a small, 2.1 cuft , chest 110 ac freezer. This timer is connected to the front panel on-off switch on a 1500 wattpure sine wave inverter. The timer completes the circuit to turnon the inverter and freezer for 10 minutes(probably will have to adjust this) every hour for 17 hours. No standby inverter draw.Freezer is off at night. Sun comes up, freezer, turns on, very cold beer by noon.Low battery drain, with this system.Works in my garage but is not field tested yet. Better work , cause no way tobuy a 12 volt fridge in Mexico.Under ideal conditions- 70 degree ambient temp. System ( on different ac timer) used 160 watt hours a day. Freezer on grid ac. Watts measured with kill a watt meter. So will be more watt hours off grid because of watts to run inverter, battery discharge, and hopefully warmer Baja ambient temp . Freezer temp was max 45- min 30 f.

Read wiring instructions carefully
Hooked this device up to a 12V battery to control a greenhouse fan. I discovered there was no power coming through the "switch" side. Checked with my multimeter. I read another person's review and took a closer look at the wiring diagram. I added a jumper to run + from the "power" input to the "switch" input. Power to the fan comes from the second connection on "switch" side of device.

12v timer for dc
The instructions are very poor. Otherwise it works as advertised once you figure it out. At first I thought it would not allow me to set the current time because it did not say to press "AND HOLD" the clock button WHILE you are setting the time. This needs to be added to the instructions.
