Yes, it has stabilised my knee (medial meniscal extrusion) so enabling the knee to function properly thus prolonging its life and for that I am pleased. Surgery is not always the best option. However, the silicone patella ring (a common feature on a lot of knee braces) is a BIG mistake as it prevents patella tracking, with likely increased compressive forces between the patella and femur. This can easily resolved with a pair of scissors and cutting away the top portion of the silicone ring to form a ‘U’ shape patella silicone support. The devise is a lot more comfortable as it allows for normal knee biomechanics. It is beyond my comprehension when many devises such as this knee brace do not recognise and allow for musculoskeletal dynamics. As a podiatrist I have seen this mistaken approach all too often in insole design, something that greatly frustrates me. Who do these companies consult when they are designing their products? Thankfully, as a former MSK Podiatrist I understand lower limb biomechanics and can make the necessary adjustments to the knee brace. I encourage you to do the same and keep walking as those loading and unloading forces are essential to maintaining the properties of the hyaline cartilage on which the joint moves. Being avascular its how they get their nutrients.

Helped with reducing pain when worn. It gave some comfort.

Very good quality, strong Velcro, provides good support and stability for knee issues. Helps aid walking, need to remove if sitting do a long time as can be uncomfortable, but overall great product!

It is comfortable. Fiddly to put on but once you line up the straps and fasten the velcro. You are good to go.

As i just underwent a meniscus repair,walking proved to be very difficult. Came across bodyprox knee brace and decided to give it a try.Not only it helps with guarding n straightening my knee,it also provided that much needed support to offset the weight bear on affected knee to prevent buckling.What i like most is the adjustable strap where u can tighten it as much as u want for that extra support.
