*update June 2019 this bed is still going strong. Our dog is 65 lbs and scratches this bed like crazy daily trying to get comfortable. The bed has held up, no tears yet. Very impressed. Our very large cat also fits in the bed with our dog *I highly recommend this dog bed. We recently moved and I was determined to keep my dogs off my new furniture. My deaf bulldog destroyed my last micro fiber couch when scratching to find a “comfy” spot. Well let’s just say this bed has been instrumental in the transition off the couches! He loves to burry his nose in the corner or prop his head up on the side. I feel this is a much better option than a flat dog bed. It’s already held up nicely to my bulldogs scratching.

Got this for my aging 85lb boxer. Someone said this wasn't big enough for their 40 lb medium dog. This is plenty big enough for my boy. He loves the pillow edging and the very dense memory foam. I also saw a review stating that this wouldn't work for a larger heavy dog. Again I disagree, the foam is VERY HEAVY AND DENSE. Not one single one of his pressure points sinks through the foam to the floor. It barely moves. He adores this bed! The test will be the waterproofing. The purpose for getting this was I have one cat who likes to mark wherever the dog sleeps. Poor old boy has to go without a bed until I'm able to clean it. I was hoping the outside would resist liquids but it doesnt. Haven't tested the inside. As long as it doesn't soak through to the foam it will be worth it. If not, it will defeat the purpose of me buying it. As far as fit and quality it's excellent! BTW it does take about 3 days for it to reach it's fully expanded size due to the memory foam.

I purchased this 9 months ago. I've purchased pricier dog beds and this one has lasted the longest. No rips yet. I remove and wash the covers once a week and it's still held up. My dog likes to nest and scratch the surface and she put tares in several beds this way. None in this one yet. Happy with purchase. Plus she loves it.

Not only did our lab try to jump in the bed as soon as it was unpacked, our 6 year old decided to give it a try too. Perfect size for our 9 year old 65 lb lab (and our 45 lb 6 year old)

So our old, obese (85lb), arthritic hound needed a new bed. We got one from the local pet chain store for a bunch of money. It lasted about two month before it was flat and gave her no support. She would rather lay on the carpet. So during a late nite Amazon search session, I ordered this. Ok, I'm impressed. It came rolled up in a vacuum sealed bag. I thought "no way this is going to work for her". A few hours later the very dense and firm foam had expanded to what you see in the pic. Hound smelled, parked her fat butt on it, and has not moved (much)..I can sit on it and not hit the floor. I zipped the cover of and I think this will be easy to clean. I'll update on wear as time passes.11-25-19 UpdateSo a quick update- we've taken of the covers and washed them and they wash up and dry beautifully. The cover comes of it two pieces, the bolster zips out and the base cushion zips out. The cushion had one "waterproof" side so be sure to put that side in oriented "up". The base cushion zips in easily. The bolster takes a little patience but it's not too bad once you push the corners back in. The zippers are smooth to operate. I just pulled the material together as I zipped it up so no cushion got caught in the zipper. Still liking this dog bed!

We have 120lb Lab mix and she absolutely loves this bed. She has slept on our couches for the past 7 years. We got new couches and didn't want her sleeping on them. She has never looked back to the couches since we got her this bed. She sleeps in all different positions and always seems so happy. Note we did get the X Large bed for her. Plenty of room

This is a nice bed, don’t get me wrong. But, my 40lb, textbook “medium” dog would not fit in it comfortably, unlike the golden retriever in the picture that seems to be fitting appropriately in it. The large cat, however, has deemed it his property and hasn’t moved all day.Nice bed. Check the dimensions in comparison to your dog before buying!

So far so good! Took a few hours for it to unfold but it seems like a solid bed.unsure if water proof but my dog doesn't pee on his bed or in the house we just were tired of the cheap flimsy $30 beds. This definitely is of better quality and fits.my 40lb mix dog well. I'll see how it holds up before I give it 5 stars. Dog approves

Exactly what I was searching for! Very durable, comfortable and completely waterproof and easy to wash. Our Doberman’s love their new beds, can’t get the up in the mornings now!
