I let these foam packs go beyond the use date but they still worked great. They are not cheap for the amount of foam. The control of application is good. I have tried some other brands where the cutoff flow valve just squeezes the tubing. I did not find that these worked as well as the control nozzle on the Froth Pak. Though the safety did get in the way occasionally; you just have to be deliberate in how you squeeze the trigger. Much better than the cans available at your local hardware store. I will definitely purchase more. I used these paks to insulate around the metal duct boots of my hvac system. They were sweating from humid air in the attic meeting the metal of the ceiling duct boots. The original insulation was in poor condition and would not have been easy to replace while straddling the ceiling joists. This product was a perfect solution. Some people have commented negatively about the coverage. Well if you have considerable square footage to cover this is not the product for you. You need a larger foam pak or another typed insulation. But if you have a small area and need some control over the application this will work.

Don't waste your hard earned money!
Let me preface by stating I've bought and used the Froth Pak 200 and was very impressed by the product. So I had an understanding of this product, how to use the spray gun, and how to apply.Packaging was fine, all parts were included. But instantly once I squeezed the trigger I knew that this was not the same quality product as the Froth Pak 200.Product is advertised to provide 12 square feet of product at 1" thick, IF all the rules are followed. I heated the cans to 70 ish degrees and shook them vigorously prior to starting to spray. My project was to simply spray a 1" x 1" bead of foam on top of my foundation wall to seal my rim joist sill plate. Sounds simple enough.....wrong.In theory, if you were to lay one continuous bead, you should get roughly 144 Lf. I'm not naive, I know we don't live in a perfect world so I wasn't expecting that amount. I was expecting maybe half of that.....What I got out of the can was a sloppy mess of barely 16' (with the last 6' being an inaccurate mixture and providing brittle foam).Dow needs to stop taking peoples money and remove this product. Use the $45 you were going to spend on this to either help pay for the Froth Pak 200 (which worked great for me) or go buy a Great Stuff Pro gun and spray foam.Extremely disappointed in what Dow provided for $45.

Met my needs, but one must have reasonable expectations.
I bought 3 of these kits to air-seal a band board around a second floor addition. The spray gun worked perfectly for me and after a very short learning curve I carefully applied the stuff and had enough to get the whole job done. (Now I have 2 sprayers left and no cans of A and B.). This was just for laying down 1/4 inch of foam to seal cracks and gaps. Fiberglass insulation went in after. These are good for rather small jobs. If you expect to fill a wall you will be technically and economically disappointed.I could have bought one gun and multiple refill cans, I suppose. For me the math was about the cost avoidance of a separate trip by an insulation contractor.Wear your safety gear! This is a commercial product and you need to protect yourself.

Works fine but Overpriced for volume of material
I followed the instructions perfectly and the product worked as advertised. I also understood that it provided onecubit foot of material. I had hoped for a bit more material for the cost but it stops flowing at almost exactly one cubicfoot. Thats really NOT a lot of product for $46 bucks!! You are better off buying 9 cans of regular insulating foamat 5 bucks a can!!

WORKS PERFECT AND DID AMAZING JOB!!
I bought this to repair RV compartment boxes that were severly damaged by a tire explosion. the factory boxes are sprayed with a 2lb foam and i wanted to match that with the box repair. i read the bad reviews before purchasing but have worked with spray foam before and figured id give it a try. well i read directions shook both cans excessively and made sure they where warm 90 degrees plus. and held them UPSIDE down while spraying. The results where amazing came out perfect!! i I had plenty of foam for my application and was able to do some extra areas. Would buy again!!!

Overpriced spray
The spray foam did not work for crap it did not cover very much ground I was trying to fill in some areas in the hot tub where I had purchased it and some mice got in there I ended up having to buy cans from Home Depot with spray foam that were so much better than this The spray foam did not work for crap it did not cover very much ground I was trying to fill in some areas in a hot tub where I have purchased it and some mice got in there I ended up having to buy cans from Home Depot with spray foam that were so much better than this $48 container set up. I spent on 15 cans $55 and they worked 100% better than this crap

Disappointing
After reading other reviews of this product it, I decided to give it a try. I read/followed the instructions and to my surprise, the product did not function properly. The ISO canister did not dispense properly at first. I only sprayed a small section as a test and the foam immediately disappeared. Something wasn't right. I tightened the canisters, but didn't over tighten, as per the instructions. That was my issue. The ISO canister wasn't fully tightened. I felt that I tightened each canister equally, I suppose that was not the case. After some more tightening, I changed the nozzle and began respraying. The results were not great. I was expecting a bit more expansion than what happened. Was it the product? Was it the lack of initial tightening of the ISO canister? Not sure. This product get two stars because I thought that the amount of coverage they claim was a bit understated.
