This is a pretty decent sauce that literally makes a 12-minute dinner possible. We order take out now and then, and I would say that this compares nicely with average-to-good restaurants. It wasn't as spicy as our typical restaurant fair, and I wouldn't call it a sugar sauce. Definitely task the orange in it, as you should.The ingredients for most Asian sauces are composed of things I don't have readily available, so something like this works well.We served this for some friends as an experiment, and I didn't start cooking until they walked in the door and we were literally eating 15 minutes later. Made this and the Mongolian BBQ Beef for them as the same time, and I would say both came out fine.I would give it 5 stars if it were a little cheaper. At about $3 a pack, by the time you add chicken, pepper, onion, you don't get a tremendous saving over the inexpensive take-out restaurants. Still, something fast, easy, and tasty to keep on hand.

We buy this in multi packs. We add carrots and broccoli to make lettuce wraps. A family favorite in our home.

We subscribe to a meal kit service and so many of the recipes include hoisin sauce or similar -- and it always contains wheat. We started using this instead as a replacement and it is outstanding, not overly sweet or salty, and we've incorporated it into our freestyle recipes when we cook as well. It's always perfectly packaged, delicious, and great value. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Tastes just like regular hoisin sauce, and great for stir-frys - thought I would never be able to have hoisin sauce again after my celiac diagnosis. A little expensive, as are most gluten free items....if you don't mind the price, I highly recommend.

The price is a tad high, but during lockdown it is hard to find... This company's products taste like the normal product... This stuff is great and for those that need gluten free, this company does it right
