Sim card activation is a joke so change name from Iridium Go to Iridium STOP!
When someone pays $1,600 for a sat phone connection, that probably means they really need to get connected ASAP. I received the Iridium Go and the sim card had to be activated. I'm in the middle of nowhere on an oil & gas project in West Texas and the damn thing still isn't 'activated' after sending the link message hours ago. The project team needs 10 more of these but not from these clowns.

Incredible Technology, but expensive to maintain service
The hardware is very nice, although the service contacts are very restrictive. I missed a service cancellation by one day and I had to pay the full month contract ($150). Cool in it's capabilities though.

Good. Could have better support and guide
Arrived very fast. 5 stars on that. The setup was a bit frustrating as the seller didn’t indicate which SIM card added was the right one to use with the plan. Also no hotline fit support but only by emails that are answered in 24-36 hours. — By the seller or by Iridium - this isn’t a level of service I would expect for such a critical and pricy device.A better user manual with step by step settings for all the features could be a huge help. This is a very expensive device and putting few dollars on a better user setup and installation guide could be very helpful.
