Best external hard drive I've ever had!
I was looking for an external hard drive that could be durable a portable, and I ended up more that surprised with this great option. This little friend is extremely compact and convenient, it takes almost no place in my backpack, pocket or hand; really easy to carry, and even though I haven't tested the IP68 certification yet, it seems pretty hard and durable. There is an included Type C to Type C cable, and has provided awesome transfer speeds in both my Linux powered Laptop and my Android powered smartphone. I have used it for downloading some movies from my phone, transfer them to the HDD and then connect it to my Smart TV with no issues; cotinous hours of media playback seamlessly! It gets a little bit hot upon intensive use though, but I don't feel it is out of the ordinary, since it immediately gets cold afterwards.Highly recommended!

Works with BMPCC4k!
This little thing is awesome for the price! I haven’t tested the read and write speeds yet, but I purchased this in hopes of getting cheaper memory for my camera, the Blackmagic Pocket 4K! I have the Samsung T5 and that’s also a great drive, but isn’t water and dust proof, also this SSD is smaller. I can toss this one around without worrying too much, plus I like the material more than the T5. With the coupon, the drive came out to $60 which is quite the bargain! I previously ordered the ravpower ssd in hopes that it would work with my camera and it didn’t unfortunately. This one definitely does and I have been recording 3:1 RAW video with it! Excellent drive all around!

Awesome Drive
This is lightweight and fast and so small and portable, I am amazed at how great SS drives are these days! This comes with a high quality USB 3.1 short cable by the way. They description fails to mention that and I wasted money buying one at the same time but I'll find a use for it one day!

Nice package but runs warmer than Samsung
Great form factor and seems very well made. Black Magic speed tests put it slightly slower (465 vs 478 write and 509 vs 518 read) than my Samsung T5, however I've found it runs MUCH warmer than my Samsung. Not burning hot or anything, but a noticeable difference between the two.

Fast! Compact and strong.
On a good USB 3.1 controller it runs as fast as SATA III SSD drives. Great design and very convenient. Hope it ends up being as reliable as it is fast!

Very pleased
So far this has been a nice external SSD. I dropped 2 EXT4 partitions onto it and have been using it as a supplemental disk. There was some contridiction about whether or not it shipped with a USB-C only cable; it does, so if your computer doesn't have a USB-C port you'll need an adapter. Ordered one at the same time and have had no issues using the SSD through the adapter.

Working great, and for $50, a steal!
Very fast SSD, so it makes an excellent portable unit. Can even use a partition with ReadyBoost, without any issues.Edit (12/21/2019): Following some others excellent reviews, I added some benchmark results ranging from old PC with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 functionality, a more recent i7-8850H based platform connected to USB 3.1 ports using USB-A to USB-C cable, and Thunderbolt port using USB-C to USB-C cable.Look at that nice 4k numbers at Queue depth 1! No wonder it felt fast using the old PC fast using ReadyBoost.

Surpassed My Expectations
Had been using the standard Flash/Jump drives for years and when I changed jobs and was using a flash drive for all my documents and data I found that they would die within a couple months (yay for backing up weekly). Saw this and thought I would give it a try (I didn’t have high hopes as it was still a usb drive). Well, 2+ years later it is still going sting with both heavy reading and writing of both large and small files. My only concern is how hot the device gets (probably why it’s a metal case), there are times I have to let it cool off before it’s cooled enough to be comfortably handled by hand. I am looking to get another of these in a 1Tb size in the near future.
