Overall, this has the makings of a good flashlight. It is bright, easy to use, sturdy feeling, and I like that you can charge the included 18650 without removing it from the flashlight.That said, this light has one critical flaw: the flashlight mode select. As advertised, this flashlight can switch between high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS. Unfortunately unlike most similar flashlights, it does this no matter what. Any time you turn on the flashlight it will start in the next mode from the one you left it in. That is to say if you started in say, low, when next you turn the flashlight on it will be in strobe. It doesn't matter is this is minutes or days later, the flashlight always cycles to the next mode. This makes an otherwise good flashlight impractical for anything but emergency use. Just think about how many times on a given camping trip you turn on and off a flashlight. It is... a lot.Other annoyances are the back cap has to be removed to charged, but is not tethered to the back of the light, which means you'll probably lose it. Also "low" mode is still very bright, which makes it less than useful for camping or low-light situations. Further, the light is VERY blue, which is detrimental to your night vision in low light situations.Also, I would guess the lights advertised 900 lumens is likely only when fully charged and in maximum zoom. Fully zoomed out it is less impressive.It isn't worth the $5 to send this back to Amazon, so I'll keep it as an emergency flashlight, but I'm still shopping around. For the price, it is OK and certainly better than anything you'll pick up at a big box store.

I don't normally take the time to write up reviews, and I don't normally fall for marketing gimmicks. BUT, I saw Tac9er's marketing video on Facebook where they drove over this flashlight with a truck and was impressed. Once the light arrived I was even more impressed. Granted it's only a flashlight, so you push the button and it turns on... you push the button and it turns off, but it's is seriously pretty darn nice. It just looks slick. I'm going to pick up a few more as Christmas gifts.

My husband was really happy when I gave him this - it’s super bright and has several settings. The rechargeable battery is wonderful, because his current work flashlight eats batteries quickly. The only downside is the weight - he likes to hold his flashlight in his mouth sometimes when he’s working, and this one is too heavy for that.

Like the heft of the light, and the rechargability. I'm afraid if I don't use the wrist strap, the weight might pull it out of my hand. Got two for Xmas gifts also.

This flashlight feels great - very sturdy and heavy duty. Love the rechargeable feature. Really bright light - illuminates a large area very well.

I received this item at a discount so I wanted to wait to write this review until I was able to use it under different circumstances.I really like the size and weight, it was easy to grab and hold without feeling too bulky. We used it to walk the dogs at night and I was pleasantly surprised at the brightness and sharpness. I would buy again.
