Antree Food Meat Grinder Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixer Including Sausage Stuffer Accessories

Got the grinder this week and made four pounds of kielbasa today, half pork shoulder and half chuck beef roast. Sausage was mix of 1/4 inch chunks and ground pork and beef. Grinding went well. When it came to stuffing casings, that's another story. The larger nozzle had some sharp edges on the outlet that could snag the casing, had to sand it down. The first foot of casing worked well but then we had to push hard with the combo spanner/meat loader to make any meat come out. This resulted in stuffing that appears to be more pate' than ground meat. Had to stop and check for clogs twice but nothing that should have done this. When we took it apart to clean, saw what appeared to be oil at the interface with the kitchen aid mixer. This is our first time stuffing our own sausage so not sure this is normal or not for the effort required to get meat through the stuffer or the presence of the oil. The meat pusher is terrible as if you push to hard, it sinks into the meat and pulls out more than it pushes down caught in the handle.

I love this easy to use meat grinder/ sausage filler attachment for my stand mixer. I used it on a very old one and it worked nearly perfectly.Cleaning is very easy for all the plastic and most of the metal parts and the brush comes in handy for cleaning the long thin tubes for sausage filling. My only problem I had was after a while of using this product and as the metal got warmer (always freeze the metal bits for at least 10 minutes before using, it prevents sticking and heating up any raw meat) the chunks of beef I had used we’re starting to get turned into a paste rather than simply being ground. However, After freezing and cleaning it worked just as it was initially but I had to do this 1 or 2 more times. Also cleaning the bit with holes I found that any silver skin or tough fat would wrap around the holes making it hard to clean. Use lots of hot water and scrub hard. Anyway. Great product and I recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap/ useful attachment for beginners or skilled chefs.

The media could not be loaded.  Very easy to use attachment for kitchen aid mixer. We have used for ground pork and beef, have not used the sausage attachments (white funnel looking tubes) but they are super easy to attach. The attachment is easy to clean with hot water and the included brush.Sturdy and looks like it will last for quite some time. The grinder does the job well!

There is so little space for meat that I spent 1 hour grinding 5 pounds (!) and I worked hard to push the pieces through. Before that, I spent half an hour cutting the meat into smaller and smaller pieces until they finally could fit in. After that, I spent another frustrating hour making sausages, because the meat was going through veeeery slowly. It may be a good tool to grind berries or cheese but not meat. My electricity bill will probably spike up this month.

I went looking for a meat grinder due to the very high price of ground beef these days. Who knew grinding your own meat would be so easy! I'm looking forward to trying all kinds of new things.. ground turkey, sausages, and whatever else I can find on Pinterest! Very easy to clean as well even though it isn't dishwasher safe - hot soapy water did the trick just fine. So worth the money!!

Easy to use KitchenAid attachment. We raise our own meats—chicken, turkey, duck, beef, and this grinder makes ground meat easily. We also used it for grinding razor clams for chowder and fritters. Will be used for venison this fall. Great tool!

I have used this one several times now and it works fine. No problems cleaning or putting it together. Price was good and it is well made. delivery fast too. Makes great ground meat if you follow the directions.
