These socks were softer, thicker, and more durable than my old socks. I was impressed to see that Hanes added visible reinforcement/extra padding on the sole of these socks, which makes me confident that these pairs will last even longer than my old ones.For fit reference, I wear a women's size 7. While these socks didn't feel tight, they also didn't feel too loose either. Although that might change as the socks inevitably stretch out with age. Overall, a great basic sock!Oh, and if you're the kind of person who worries about socks arriving all dusty from the shipping process, don’t stress! They came sealed in a plastic bag, so they were perfectly clean and ready to go straight out of the package.

I have been looking for socks to wear with tennis shoes where the back of the sock doesn't slip down off my heel into the shoe. These socks are them!
