DollaTek Bluetooth Receiver Module AS1711BT DC 5-35V Wireless Portable Audio Receiver for DIY Home Stereo Headphones

I had an old ipod dock/speaker with no Bluetooth capability. It was pretty quick and easy to find a DC power line within that and hook this up. The wide voltage compatibility makes this much easier. The dock had an aux in so the audio connection was similarly easy. The only wrinkle in my plan was that the dock was supplying power continuously to the board so it grabbed my phone's Bluetooth connection wherever was nearby. I did not get a chance to listen critically to it since this was a pretty average speaker. And then that speaker died (of unrelated causes). But I like the ease of use, the thoughtful (e.g. different connection options for audio out) and quality build. I plan to use it again with an older NAD amp or possibly on a friend's old, non-Bluetooth car stereo. Low price makes it particularly easy to recommend.

Used this to breathe ne life into an old amp and speakers. It now can connect to my phone so I can play Amazon Music -or any other service through the speakers. Brilliant! Works of a standard 5v USB supply and the 3.5mm socket connects the audio to the amp. Great value for money!

Used one to add Bluetooth to a portable radio. Used another to add second Bluetooth to Nissan Micra so that my wife can listen to podcasts without using the Aux cable connection. Most phones can operate two BT devices so her phone now connects to the car radio BT for handsfree calls and the DollaTek BT for podcasts. So long as Aux selected on the radio the podcasts can be heard. Found power for the board from behind the 12V accessories socket and connected the audio to the connections at the back of the AUX socket. All Hidden and works fine. The audio output level from the DollaTek appears not to be LINE level so there is no chance of over-driving the car radio, you might have to adjust the media volume on your phone to max if you like to 'blow the doors off'!

Nice package. Just big enough to fit in a Tic-Tac box. Nice and compact and robust. Great for adding BT to an old stereo with a jack or audio plug input. Sound wise, I needed to choose varying EQ ( equaliser) options for my phone to get the best out of it for music. Totally fine for listening to podcasts and things on an old stereo that didn't previoulsy have BT. Seems robust enough. And with varying power inputs, a great unit for home enthusiasts. - Otherise just use a USB charge cable, pair your phone and you're good to go. Probably a bit of overkill of you have old headphones with a jack but no jack output on your phone.

Good wee board it connects easily and works well right out of the package. Problem with noise/interference however, the board has a constant background buzz (~1600hz) when a signal is being outputted. This noise cuts off when the sound output is too low (ie a quiet part in a song) which makes it even more noticeable. I have tried the board on multiple power sources including a 9V battery and the results are consistent. I’d say it’s good for some wee projects but not for say a diy speaker/sound system as it damages audio quality.

A great little Bluetooth PCB that is stereo and powerful enough to run some headphones.

Imagine old amplifier from 1977 with high quality bluetooth... Golden era of HiFi is back, even more amazing then it was. Connection is quite simple, but need separate power source or B0505S-1W to avoid ground loop. If anyone need help with connecting it please write to me, I can explain and and help.

Bought to upgrade an active speaker. The wide input voltage rage meant I could connect directly to the amplifier's 18V supply and the included audio lead was easily modified for hook-up to the auxiliary input. Sound quality is very good and though I've not tested the range limits for the Bluetooth signal, it easily meets my needs walking around the house.

Vorteile: Breiter Versorgungsspannungsbereich (5–35 V) Gute Audioqualität und stabiles Signal Kompakte Bauform, einfach zu integrieren Schnelle Bluetooth-Kopplung Nachteile: Werkseitig kaum Filterung auf der Versorgungsspannung, kann bei „lauten“ Netzteilen hörbares Rauschen erzeugen Status-LED ist relativ hell Fazit: Sehr gutes Modul für DIY-Projekte oder zur Nachrüstung älterer Verstärker und Aktivboxen. Mit minimaler zusätzlicher Entstörung auf der Spannungsversorgung liefert es eine hervorragende Leistung.

Surprisingly capable little module for the price. Setup was quick and painless — it paired instantly and delivered a clean, stable Bluetooth signal without the usual background hiss or random dropouts you get with cheaper boards. The sound quality is more than decent, with good dynamics and clarity once connected to a proper amp. It’s small, easy to integrate into any DIY audio project, and works exactly as advertised. Feels like a budget hack for anyone who wants to add wireless streaming to an existing system without spending much. A no-nonsense, great-value Bluetooth receiver that simply gets the job done.

Prodotto molto valido. Ampio range di alimentazione, ottimo segnale audio: potente e pulito. L'ho utilizzato per dotare l'ics della mia lancia Lybra di bluetooth, lo uso da una settimana circa e devo dire che funziona perfettamente. Pairing rapidissimo e non si avverte alcun disturbo da interferenza. Ottimo per gli appassionati di fai da te. Molto soddisfatto, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,ne comprerò sicuramente un'altro.
