This is my second Droll Yankees Silhouette Window Feeder. It stays well on the window, and the tray is easy to remove. Just turn it until the tab of the tray aligns with the slot of the metal holder and lift up. I wash the clear plastic dish in the top rack of the dishwasher, and it does fine. It doesn't claim to be dishwasher safe, but I took a chance because I'm pretty busy, and I want to be sure that the bird dishes don't get contaminated.It's fun to watch the birds through the window: I have my artwork up against the window inside, and right outside is the Window Feeder. At first, the birds were a little skittish because they could see me, but after awhile, unless I made a sudden move, they just ignored me. Juncos, chickadees, Flickers, Goldfinches, and many other birds regularly visit the feeder.I highly recommend the Silhouette Window Feeder.

I love this feeder, it is a cute design and I can watch the birds feed. My only draw back is the suction cups arent the best quality and the bottom suction cup detached from the screw but can be glued.

If you're worried the suction cups won't hold, worry no more! My house has a backyard full of bluejays and they have been sitting on the rim of this feeder and taking off forcefully over and over again. The feeder hasn't budged! The dish is super easy to clean as well. Love this feeder. Bigger than expected too.

Beautifully designed and sturdy. Birds are lining up to eat at my feeder! Bird watching has never been so cool! I can take pictures and videos from inside my home without scaring them off. I'm in awe of the different beautiful wild birds that stop by, mainly cardinals and blue jays.

I think the silhouette is really pretty but mine came without the dish to put the seed in so I can’t use it. I can’t find a way to contact the seller and I don’t want to return the entire thing just to get the missing piece. Hoping someone sees this and reaches out.

After several window bird feeders this one is the best. The metal frame is very sturdy and suction cups seem to extra grip. Even after a squirrel jumped to it it remained on the window compared to the plastic window feeder types that fall off instantly and crack like I have happen. Highly recommend this product and not simply for its beauty.

I love this product. It’s sturdy and is so pretty. I gave the suction a slightly lower rating only because the squirrels 🐿 have knocked it down, but only once so far. If you can keep the squirrels away, you will have no problems with the suction for birds. I highly recommend this feeder!
