Several years ago See's Candies discontinued their candied ginger enrobed in dark chocolate. since that time ive tasted every version on the commercial market, including Trader Joe's and various Whole Foods bars. Trader Joe's was way too much candied and the various bars at Whole Foods had hardly any taste.Well this year I began chemotherapy for breast cancer and the support group talked about ginger helping settle the nausea. My mind immediately lept to See's product.I research Amazon and found this product. It taste perfect. Just the right combination of heat, sugar and rich dark chocolate.And the packaging! My word! This is going on my Holiday gift giving. The box has white ribbon around it with a gift card. When opened the candies are enclosed in a sealed cellophane container. And that bag is enclosed in a soft velvety bag with drawstring closure. Wow.

The outer packaging was so beautiful that I was a little disappointed to see a resealable bag of chocolate covered ginger inside. Highly practical for keeping thing fresh, though. High quality chocolate and large pieces of ginger. I still like Trader Joe's for convenience, since they are right around the corner and equally good, but Andy Anand's looks amazing for a gift!

This was a perfect gift for my ginger lover friend. The presentation is ready with no wrapping paper needed to look good. The product was raved about as being even better than the same expensive thing from the specialty spice shop.

This was a gift for my mom. She liked it so much she asked me to order it for her again!

These were a lot larger than the pic. It will make a great gift, but you have to assemble the box and take them out the package. I'm not a fan of the additional handling if you are gifting it.

Not too sweet. Nice ginger bite. Chocolate is bitterssweet.

The dark chocolate ginger is excellent! You can taste both the ginger and the dark chocolate. The flavors are very distinct and good.
