Great product for the money. Husband was happy!

Fit our wall fountain perfectly. Quiet as long as water levels are at maximum. Last one lasted 10 years on 24/7!

Product does not last long enough for its cost

This is the second time I've purchased this pump (566717 290 gph 23 watt). The first one has lasted 6 years...it still works but the flow is not what it should be. The problem is a worn out shaft allowing the impeller to flop around. It's an easy fix but only if the parts are available, that's why I've dinged the binary stars. It's a fine pump otherwise.A suitable 304 3mm stainless steel rod (1272T33) can be had from McMaster-Carr, though you will have to cut it to length. I tried finding it here on Amazon but the vendors either didn't list the grade or they didn't list the size correctly (i.e. 3mm/1/8"...which is it?) And if you happen to lose one or both rubber shaft end mounts (like I did), they're easy enough to carve out of a chunk of tire tread or garage door bumper, etc.This repair will also work the the 566716 130gph 11 watt pump which utilizes the same size shaft.

powerful and adjustable, pretty small

Nice pump, but too small for our fountain. We had to go with a PES 700.

I have had two pumps burn out in my little pond/waterfall- the filter always clogged too easily & cleaning the filters was a big pain. This little pump is much better for my purposes- it doesn't have a filter at all, but is designed to keep the gunk from getting in - it's kind of like magic to me. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the wheel thingy on the front does still get small bits clogged in it, which has to be scraped out. It DID say to start with clean water (I didn't), so it's my fault really- but the pond is under trees, so it gets a lot of debris in it. Even as is, the pump has never failed to move the water. I like it!

I bought this pump to serve in an unusual application. Inside the bottom of a water re-circulation system for my lapidary cabochon machine (Raytech). As the cabbing machine grinds down stones of all types, the debris ends up in the bottom of the bucket where the Little Giant pump sits. Even though the water is thick with rock dust, and it is sitting under a small pile of rock dust, the pump still does a good job of filtering, and sending clean water back (up 4 feet) to the cab making machine. Even just by itself, it is not noisy. It cost a bit more than the cheap foreign ones, but this one also has a warranty too!

This is a compact pump for a small pond where little movement of water is needed. It didn't fit the bill for my needs though.

These tend to last longer than the other pumps I’ve used in the past.
