Great looking tree.
I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews, but I took a chance—and I’m glad I did! It arrived looking healthy, and a couple of weeks later, it’s still going strong.

Quality & condition of plants.
I received 2 plants and upon opening leaves were broken, smashed, with rot spots. I should have known that you're quality of this product was poor.

Best secret gift ever
So now that I'm in my 30's I'm into plants as well.... me and some of my girlfriends are in a group chat and we talk about plants all the time... Well one of our girlfriends is not into plants but because she is always seeing the three of us constantly showing new plants and talking plant stuff day in and day out she says she wants to be part of the cool plant club too. So I secretly got her address from her roommate and mailed her this money tree as her first plant.. Little did I know prior to ordering it that Money trees are said to give you financial luck BUT only if its gifted to you not purchased on your own. So I secretly gifted my friend this plant. She receives the plants and immediately texts our group inquiring to which of us sent the plant. No one fesses up. She sends all these pictures and by the looks of the pictures the plant was packed well and arrived in mint condition... She then tells us how since she got the plant a bunch of random luck has came her way like she received a big refund for a trip that she had been disputing since Covid happened and how she got a bonus at work. So I guess their is something to this money luck.... I love that she still has no clue who sent the plant and last I checked it was still alive..... LOL..... maybe one day when we are 80 I will own up to gifting it to her or maybe I'll let her continue to believe it was magic and enjoy her stories of financial gain and how it was all thanks to the magic money tree she was gifted.

Arrived alive but needs TLC
Plant took a few days to arrive. It looks like it was dropped or stored incorrectly as a lot of the leave/branches were damaged. Plant was severely dry when it arrived. Plant was not actually braided, many of the plants were cut at the base so no additional growth in highest and braiding could be continued. The plant was also not properly rotated in sunlight as most of the leaves/branches favor one site over the other. Overall, the plant is still alive and with the proper TLC it'll be able to thrive. After two days, the main leaves started to perk up but still monitoring the young leaves, the haven't perked up yet.

Came with a pet lizard!
I ordered this plant not knowing what to expect! I’ve never ordered plants online before. I was pleasantly surprised at how well packaged it came. I’d been watering it diligently for a month and every time I did so, I swore I saw some odd movement in the leaves. However, I chalked this up to be just some draft in my New York City apartment. However. Yesterday while I misted my money tree a new friend appeared. A lizard! Wow! It was a brown female aneole. A tropical lizard in my Brooklyn apartment! What do I do???? I tried to catch it but it ran. It is now lost under my bed. Beware of surprise pets when you order this plant.

WOW. Enormous!
This is the third plant and first money tree I have bought from American Plant exchange. It's also the first review I have given for the place. I am a lazy and thoughtless person who rarely will bother writing a review for anything , regardless if it was great or bad. After receiving this plant, I have to write a review. Like I said, this is the 4th plant I have purchased from here. I don't know what they put in them before they ship. But every plant is always enormous and healthy (twice the size of any plants I've ordered from any other nursery). You will not be disappointed. Big, Beutiful and green!

Not what I expected, leaves arrived very dry and easy to fall off.
For the money paid, there should have been some directions about the dirt. There was a bag of dirt, clumped, hard and I was confused about what it was. However, I wanted a money plant so we will see how it goes with the growth. It was wilted, leaves dry and falling. Hopefully I will see some growth or new life in a few months. Not sure if I will order more plants through mail again.
