Great product
Lovely exciting protected kids. Well it was until my wife thought it would be a good ideas to feed the ants a banana which smeared the screen forever.

Was easy to set up. Ants lasted a while! Great for small children to watch how ants work!

Not suitable for sale in the UK
Bought as a birthday present and when we came to order the ants it says that they can only be ordered if you live in the USA. Went online to see if you could buy the ants elsewhere separately and they were over £50! Not sure if you can use normal garden ants but the information says you need harvester ants. Had to return will order the cheaper one that’s UK based

The holes at the top are top big, just caught an ant outside of the farm!

sticker in the box
The product was fine but there was an address sticker stuck to the bix itself and this would not all come off, it left a sticky residue in the box, this was a gift so very disappointing.

Fine, do the job
It's fine, it does the job. Unfortunately the queen that I ordered separately (from other seller) died slightly after 1 week, so can't really see the ant farm fully developed

Great ant farm! Ordered this last minute because I had purchased too many harvester ants for my sons’ sets that they received for Christmas which contained the blue gel. The ants definitely prefer this sand ant farm (or found it easier to tunnel) and my kids constantly comment about how cool this one looks as compared to their more expensive gel set. Did not come with the ants (but I think has an option to order) but was definitely worth it for the price and size! My kids are always excited to check their progress and comment every day how awesome this farm is. This picture is just after a few days! Would recommend for great family project and observation fun!

The product was well made and included the sand which was a bonus. It also has holes which allows you to add more farms to it as the colony grows. My daughter loves it as it gives you a great view of the colony as it expands.
