These were a great idea and worked just find traveling, but they're kind of a pain to refill water and clean. I put mine in the top rack of the dishwasher which worked but not sure if that's normal. Once food or water is loaded it's difficult to refill the other without making a mess. But they do work good for a hotel stay.

Let me start off by saying I love the concept and compactness of these bowls for traveling. That's why I bought it in the first place, BUT....I have a 10lb Yorkie and I bought this for an upcoming road trip thinking its be easier than hauling 2 ceramic bowls around. I can see how it would be super easy if your dog was a strict kibble eater. Mine however is on wet food which got pretty messy in these bowls. I kept it on the 1st tier size (small bowl) and the wet food chunks kept getting stuck in between the other tiers which made it difficult for my dog to get out and eat. Raising the bowl tiers to fully extend so the food wouldn't get stuck just made the bowl too big for my dog.It also says it is dishwasher friendly, but the silicone bowls do not come out of the case. I hand washed them instead but you really gotta make sure to dry in between everything and under the zipper liner. Being our road trip takes 2 days, I dont have the time to pick his food out of the crevasses for him to eat when we stop and then find a place to wash out the food bowl before I store it away again.Overall: great concept and it would be 100% perfect for kibble eaters. I don't recommend for wet food eaters. And I wish the bowls were removable from the case for easier washing.

Large enough and compact for traveling

I bought a gallon of water, and kept these bowls and the water right by the car door, so that every time we stopped we could easily give our pup a drink. It was also easy to close up and bring into the hotel for his meals. Very compact, but also durable enough for a lot of use.

I always suffer when i take my dog to my weekend getaways because all of the stuff that i have to take with me for him. This made it easier to carry around less baggage!

I like it, but that is not important. My cat likes it, that is what is important! We use it in our rv. Keeps from making a mess and getting water and food everywhere. Really nice and compact when not in use, compact space saving feature is important in our rv where every cubic inch of storage is important.

Great set of bowls. I was flying with my pup across Europe and was looking for some travel bowls to take with us on a trip. I love that it comes in a zip up bag and it does not take any real space. I just dump the leftover food and water, close the bag and we are ready to go. The bowls are a generous size and do not collapse on its own like the other ones I bought from another vendor. The case makes it very sturdy. Very happy with my purchase!
