We were so excited when this fire pit arrived. It is gorgeous. We spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how the propane tank hid inside the unit. It almost fits if it goes sideways--but it doesn't fit because it's an EXTERNAL TANK. We called Amazon & they said the return process could take up to 4 weeks. But it took ONE DAY! I was so impressed! Aria from Century Modern Outdoor Fireplace called early in the morning the very next day. We immediately reached an agreement that I am very happy with. Aria also said that they are fixing the description so it is more clear that this is an external tank. UTTERLY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our solution was to include the external matching cover that also acts as a small table. You can find it here on Amazon, and it's as gorgeous as the fire pit itself (or so it seems by the photo. We have yet to receive it.) I LOVE this fire pit, and I have complete confidence in this company. If you like the look, buy it! And buy the side table/cover, too. You can't go wrong. Looks nice, but the ignition and knob to adjust flame don’t work at all and can’t find a replacement part. If we start it with a lighter and hold the knob in the entire time, we can get a flame and it will stay, but who wants to hold the knob on their knees to have a fire, not me. Talked with customer service, they said they would call me and tell me how to use the knob, but they never did. I’ve used many of these before and I know it’s non-functional, I know how to use a propane knob. Anyways, this would be a great product, if it worked. Looks nice. I added blue fire glass and looks great...the only problem is it doesn’t work.

The media could not be loaded. So far I really like it. I have only used it for a short period of time. So far so good !!! Modern looking. Comes with a canvas cover. You have to buy the propane tank cover separately. Mine came with black glass as a volcanic rock. I don’t know if it is standard or it was because I requested it during the purchase process. I sent a message to the seller asking them for the black volcanic rock and they never replied.

This fire pit has been such a disappointment for us in terms of functionality. While it looks great, the lighter function is messed up such that it won’t stay on unless we hold the knob to keep the gas engaged. After several tries (I’m talking 15-20 attempts) it will stay engaged and the fire will stay lit. But as you can imagine, it’s discouraging and frustrating to have to do this each time we go to use it. I have tried to call the manufacturer several times and the number provided sounds as though it goes to a fax machine. So no customer service either. I’m so bummed that this is what we received because we’ve dreamed of having our outdoor space to use for years. Now only to have an only sometimes functional fire pit. Sad because it looks great too!

The description said the fire pit would include a cover. There wasn’t one included. I have sent 3 messages to the manufacturer and have not received any reply. Fire pit was delivered over a month ago.

Love this and for the 1/3 the price versus way more expensive and heavier ones. Completely Satisfied! Converting to Natural Gas was easy as well. Only Con: Would love for an offer of the glass wind guard in the for sale side of this product.

Setup was easy. Worked first time.Fireput was as expected, looks great and produces a good sized flame.I replaced the stones with glass ones (looks better) and added the glass sheild (from the seller as well)Recommended.

We have had the fireplace over a year now. We consistently covered after each use. Even with that the paint has peeled off most of the stone and large chips have formed close the fire. The cover is even lower quality than the unit. Contacted seller with poor response. Would not recommend.
