I like the shearling/fleece style "fur". The inside is polyester and not fur lined. The fur part is 10% wool, 90% polyester. My head diameter is approximately 23 inches. That converts to a size L (large) or 22 3/4" to 23 1/8" (58-59cm). The inside diameter of the hat measures approximately 24" (more of an XL) so it fits a little loose, but not horribly. I keep a tight haircut, so it would probably fit better if I actually had hair. The chin straps are used to keep the large flaps up when not being used and are too long. I'm going to add extra snaps for a better fit, not really a big deal. Overall, it's a descent hat for the price so I'll keep this one.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and he's mentioned a few times how much he loves it- it's well insulated and keeps his head and ears warm while he's dealing with snow removal. He's a cold weather wuss so that means this hat does the job for sure! I swiped this hat to go tend my chickens one morning recenly when we some of New England's nastiest winter weather (single digit temps with 40-50mph wind gusts...brrrrrrrrrr!). My husband is right! Even in those miserable conditions, this hat kept my noggin and ears toasty warm for the 8 or 10 minutes I was out in that weather. Now I need my own so we don't fight over this one!

Fit my 25 inch head (circumference around the forehead) nicely (Somewhat slightly snug but not overly so) Used for cousin Eddie costume (pro tip: for accuracy... Get a chisel tip green sharpie and just patiently color the exposed fur in... Perhaps not sustainable for heavy use... But held up for costume purposes) So if you want a great cousin Eddie hat and have a large head and not feeling secure that the offical hat will fit... Get this hat... It's cheaper and looks like a much more expensive hat.. (Big head protip: The biggest mistake that I frequently say that people make Nguyen trying to determine whether or not something worth that their head is that the human head is not proportional to your weight or even your age… I’m a very fit 225 pounds fairly lean but my head is 25 inches in circumference… Whereas a friend of mine who is a power lifter is actually a 6 foot and a halfBut who is head circumference is closer to 23 inches which is actually the average human head) So if you want to know whether or not something will fit get yourself a cloth tape measure and measure the circumference around the four head and use that And also be aware that had size can be dramatically different between individuals regardless of their body dimensions

Keeps me warm on my long walks in the winter. I get compliments on it from time to time. A little structured but it might be better after it is worn in a little i.e. a few washings.

The quality, fit, and warmth of this hat is such that I would have paid twice the amount I purchased it for. I threw it in the washer/dryer, and it "fluffed" it up quite nicely. It also made the hat fit a wee more snug- which I wanted. If you want the ends of the flaps to meet closer when folded up- tie the straps in a single knot and snap it closed, it works great.

This hat does not all size heads. It is more geared towards a larger head

Usually find "one size fits all" hats too small for me but I bought this to try in preparation for the winter and it's ideal. Feels comfortable to wear and the fleece lining should be warm. So happy with it I immediately bought another!
