A childhood favorite styled up with add-one for after. The one thing that is pretty miserable is using the included brads to attach the pieces. They seem like they will fit great until you bake the Shrinky dink which makes it thicker. Then the brad barely fits and hurts pretty bad to try to attach. Suggestion to the company....use a longer brad stem! Otherwise super cute!

Looking for something fun and creative for neighbor grandchildren. Someone made me aware of "shrink-a-dinks" which I googled and found yours. I think they will be a big hit! No machines involved!!

I had high hopes for this. We love shrinky dinks. You color with the colored pencils and it looks like they aren’t coloring at all. You have to color a lot to see any resemblance of color. The color does get darker after it shrinks, but it never mentions this. We ended up giving up color and just shrinking them because we didn’t think the pencils worked.Once shrunken, you then have to use the little brads to attach them. I have used a lot of craft brads, and these are terrible! I had trouble bending them as an adult. I ended up getting needle nose pliers to get them bent.The googly eyes are impossible to get the backing off of. My child couldn’t do it, and I struggled with them for several minutes to get the backing off. Why they couldn’t put them on a sticker sheet to make for easy removal, I don’t know.In the end we only got one monster made and my super crafty son said he didn’t want to make any more. I wish I had saved my money and gotten something he would have liked better.

I bought these as part of a Christmas craft package for my nephew. The colored pencils were cheap and the actual material for the shrink art was brittle and all cracked when we tried to use it. This was probably because has been sitting around in someones storage far too long.
