Tried to like it.
Bottom Line: For what I spent on the Lindenle, it delivers a decent value but does not deliver on what I personally expect from a money clip wallet. The TLDR VersionBackground: I was made aware of this type of money clip wallet by a friend. What was shown to me was item similar in style to the Lindenle. The primary reason my friend was impressed was because of the RFID blocking, which for me was not a bid deal as I have been buying RFID blocking wallets and clips for me and as gifts for others for some time. From a concept perspective (metal body, band) what was shown to me was new. However, at the time my snap judgement kept me from asking questions about what I thought would be an uncomfortable block of aluminum (two plates strapped together) with a metal money clip that would damage my suit pants.Thing is, I had been wanting to replace a leather money clip / card holder that had started off with impossibly tight card slots which later turned to slots you could shake a card out of so, I should have asked questions.A couple of months later I had gotten fed up with feeling like I was going to lose a card from my leather money clip and started investigating alternatives. I found what I suspect all do, which is there are the traditional leather money clip wallets, and the aluminum or carbon fiber money wallets (clip, or with an outer band, or both). Withing the aluminum or carbon fiber types there also seemed to be a large price gap between most items (lower price), and then one particular manufacturer on the high end. Being a firm believer in not paying any more than I need to for something, I focused on the lower cost items. What stood out to me in reviews of the items I clicked through was complaints about cards being scratched. I definitely did not want something that was going to scratch my cards so crossed off items with sufficient credible reviews of damaged cards. I also did not not the idea of only having a band hold cash so I focused on items that had a clip. From there I crossed off those that had what appeared to be credible reviews saying the RFID blocking did not work, along with any item that was supposed to be made of carbon fiber (CF). I crossed of the CF items because 1) it is common knowledge that aluminum blocks RFID where I am unsure about CF, and 2) I have seen many items that claim to be quality CF but turned out to be either fake CF - plastic or resin over some cheap cloth pretending to be CF, or CF that was not properly edged so it pealed or splintered at the edges. As to the actual quality of any item in this category that has CF, I just didn't care to explore. My Experience with this item: The Lindenle has some really good things going for it. It does not scratch cards, the machining of 2 of the 3 plates is clean, and the aluminum is not going to bend unless it is put through something well outside normal use. It absolutely blocks RFID chips from being read even with the tool cutouts in the plate. It also comes with a replacement band, along with a mini driver and extra screws for when the band needs to be replaced. However, in my opinion, the Lindenle fails in some critical areas. The first thing I noticed was the machined edge on the non-clip plate that the band rides in is insufficient for keeping the band centered on the plate. It does not matter if I am taking a card out, putting a card in, or simply walking around with the wallet in my pocket, the band slips from the groove. There have been times when taking cards out that the band slips very far from the groove, causing the plate to come out of the band. I have not dropped the plate or a card, but I don't like it when I am pulling a card and end up holding a stack of cards that is one rushed moment from being spread all over the floor. The next thing that is a problem for me is the money clip. While the spring steel is formed nicely so it does not grab on pockets and it is easy to get bills under, it does not have enough pressure or possibly the clip and plate are too smooth, to where it does not securely holds bills. In my experience it takes 14 or more bills folded in half (I do not do double folds) to be somewhat confident that the clip is going to keep things in place. Even with that many bills, they are very easy to push out from under the clip. The final failing is with the outer plate that secures the band. Not only is it slightly larger than the plate it screws to, but the edges are sharp. To be fair this is not a problem if you have a decent stack of bills folded in half under the money clip as the bills keep the edges out of play. But without the bills there is just enough of an edge on the plate to grab the inside of a suite pocket on the way in.

A solid EDC money clip
TL;DR - Consider me impressed and considering buying a second one.===I'm gonna make bullet points to stay to the point. Otherwise this would be pages of excessive detail.- The elastic on my clip keeps elasticity and hasn't frayed.- The metal plates are sturdy, keeps its color, and can be separated with ease. Big fingers might fumble a bit, though.- The clip keeps its form exceptionally when stuffed with folded-over bills. It took 50 dollar bills like a champ. Theoretically, you could even clip it on MOLLE gear, although I'm not sure how well it would stay on by itself.- Haven't tried the bottle opener. It probably works well, since this clip has a very sturdy construction.- I'm surprised with how often I've applied this clip as a phone stand, a Nintendo Switch stand, and a temporary stand for many unconventional applications.

Compact, Functional & Affordable
I love this wallet. It takes up less than half the space of my last wallet, it's way cheaper than many similar available options and it comes with a bottle opener. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
