Easy fix, but should include retainer spring
Original release catch had broken after several years of use. Replacement part was easy to install, but unfortunately did not include the spring that returns the release to its normal position. Since Dyson couldn't help, it took a trip to my neighborhood hardware store (definitely not one of the big box ones!) to find a suitable replacement spring. Back in business!

Didn't fit as it said it would
Obviously this was an aftermarket part, and although it said it was the correct application and looked like it would work, it was just slightly off in one critical measurement, so I just threw it away rather than hassle with a return.

This fits but not perfectly….
The button release is not a perfect release..I have to force the release……

Spend the extra and buy an original
Doesn't fit properly, flimsy plastic bends when you try to release the bottom of the canister.
