Very cute army guys. Actually bought this for my 10 yr old but I would recommend these for smaller kids. Maybe 6-7 years old.

A dream for little boys.
I have a little friend who likes to come visit and likes to play toy soldiers.This is a perfect set. I gave him two colors to keep at his home and I have kept two colors. Now when he comes to visit I have the perfect toy for him.The ones I like are the ones from England as they come with bagpipers. That is a fun one. Those also win the approval of my friend. The soldiers from Japan are carrying swords. And there are flags. You can set up the appropriate flag with the soldiers and let them fight it our or use these for a diorama.Like any plastic solder these do have some flaws where the molds meet together and if you step on one, the bottom stand might pop off. (No I didn't test it, this is just from experience). And the bucket came in terrible shape- it was all beat up barely held together with tape. SO if you want this for a gift, be warned it might not come in a giftable package and prepare for that. (I tossed mine in an old cookie tin and gave it to him that way).Overall though these are great fun.

Great quality
I got these army men because I enjoy acting out mini wars with the army men, and needed to get some real armies.What I liked:- They are not cheaply made, most parts of the army men are sturdy. They only spots that aren't are some of the guns.- The army men have flags included, to indicate what army they are.- There is such a variety of different characters, and multiple of each.- The flags had stands so the flags stay up easily, instead of falling over.What I didn't like:- The German and the English armies are the exact same color which makes it hard to tell the difference.This is a great bucket of army men, and it fits right in with it's WWII theme. If you like the look of the for decoration, or if you like to play with army men this is the perfect set for you.
